Most advanced software packages are used for design verification to ensure high standard of product reliability in service. The state-of-the-art power transformer manufacturing plant is equipped with sophisticated facilities such as Vertical Winding machines, Vapour Phase Drying Process Plants and 200T EOT crane, besides advanced testing facilities and a modern Oil testing facility. A modern in-house tank fabrication facility ensures aesthetics and painting quality of fabricated items.Further in order to ensure consistent product quality , well documented systems are in place defining standard operating procedures and process norms, matching world class industry practices. ECPL has successfully carried out short-circuit test on various capacity transformers covering upto 315 MVA, 220kV Generator Transformer, 315MVA, 400kV Auto Transformer and 42MVA, 220kV Traction Transformer. ECPL has been persistent towards meeting international quality standards and has developed the expertise for supplying transformers conforming with various international standards like IEC, ANSI, DIN, SANS etc.

Emmess manufactures a wide range of CTs (Wound Primary / Bar Primary / Window) available from 3.6 kV to 36 kV. Current Transformers are cast using a liquid resin system with plasticizer processed under vacuum at controlled temperatures. All CTs have been type tested as per latest revision of IEC . A variety of different frames cover CTs with primary currents ranging from 5 Amperes to 5000 Amperes. CT designs are tailor-made to suit customer requirements for specific applications. Ring type and Bar primary Current Transformers are offered for higher ratios and wound primary is offered for lower ratios. Indoor CTs uses Epoxy as a standard insulating Medium. Epoxy Casting is done under vacuum and it undergoes rigorous post curing procedure to impart high dielectric and mechanical strength to withstand fault current and avoid partial discharges. Double Bolt Termination in both bar primary and Wound primary ensures that there is no loose contact even during high fault currents. Standard designs are available as per Industrial standards. But CT's of new des_ign can also be done as per customers requirement. Product Features

Indoor Applications
Emmess manufactures a wide range of PTs (Single Phase and Three Phase) available from 11 kV to 36 kV. Potential Transformers are cast using a liquid resin system with plasticizer processed under vacuum at controlled temperatures. All PTs have been type tested as per latest revision of IEC . PT designs are tailor-made to suit customer requirements for specific applications.
Copper wire is used for both windings. Primary is wound over FRP tube or Epoxy tube. It is multilayered and is of Trapezoidal design. The length of each winding layer is designed such that service and impulse voltage is distributed equally throughout, adequate to prevent interturn and interlayer shorts. Separate designs are available for both single Phase and three Phase VT's and also with provision for providing primary fuse.
