Centrifugal blowers are used in paint shop & booths to collect the paint particles in the air and exhaust it to the atmosphere. Paint shop blowers are mostly Centrifugal Industrial Air Blowers.

Specification-

Paint shop blowers Specification is determined on the basis of following parameters1. Air flow (m3/hr or cfm)- depends on the volumetric capacity of the paint booth and paint concentration in air.2. Approximate air flow requirement is twice the volume of paint booth per minute.3. Static Pressure (mm or inches of wc)- depends on Air Flow and Ducting Sizes4. In paint booth blower industrial applications mostly static pressure is about 2 to 6 inches of wc.5. Speed- Most of the paint shop blowers runs on 960rpm/ 1440rpm blowers6. Motor Power Rating (in HP/ Kw.)- is the product of Air Flow & Static Pressure

Mounting

There is two type of mounting for paint blowers:Flange Mounted Paint Blowers: mounted on the top of paint booth with the help of paint blower suction flange.Foot Mounted Paint Blowers: are mounted at floor. Ducting is required for connecting paint booth with paint blower suction.

Air blowers required in Furnace application are generally high pressure blowers. These high pressure blowers are required for circulating combustion air (combustion blowers) and heated combustion air exhaust through furnace. Depending upon the inlet air temperature Furnace Blower could be

1. Direct Mounted Fans and Blower for Furnaces (Impeller directly mounted on motor shaft) 2. Indirectly Mounted Fans and Blower for Furnaces (Impeller indirectly connected with motor shaft via. Belt drive)

High pressure blowers with inlet air temperature below 70deg. C. and direct mounting are compact in construction and runs with high speed motor. These blowers are mostly used for supplying fresh air to furnace for combustion purpose.

Furnace blowers with inlet temperature above 100deg. C. are indirect belt drive blowers. Air blowers for Furnace/ Combustion application with inlet air temperature above 400deg. C. are manufactured from SS-304 material.

1. Flange Mounted- Axial Fan can be bolted on outlet/ inlet flange of the tube.
2. Pedestal Mounted (Man Coolers) - Many times refered as Man Coolers these axial fans are provided with stand. Man Coolers are kept directly on the factory floor. Our Man Coolers are available with facility of tilting the fan at different angles.

Centrifugal Blowers based on its application are called ID Fans / FD Fans.FD Fan pushes the air into the system. The system may be furnace/ boiler/ dust collector etc. In furnace & boilers FD Fan sucks the fresh air from atmosphere and supplies it to the burner for combustion. FD Fans are normally direct driven fans.ID Fan pulls the air out of system. The hot flue gases such from the furnace/ boiler are sucked by ID Fan and thrown into atmosphere (via chimney). ID Fans for high temperature flue gases are belt driven fans.
