The EK liquid line filter drier is a premium compacted bead filter drier that is buffered by an initial 40-micron fiber-glass filter to remove most of the solid contaminants and sludge and a 20-micron final filter to remove any remaining contamination. This ensures that the refrigeration system will stay cleaner longer with minimal pressure drop in the filter drier.

Suction Line Hermetic Filter Driers
Emerson offers a wide range of suction line filter driers for use with CFC, HCFC and HFC refrigerants. The ASD is a premium suction line filter-drier optimized for high moisture, acid, and solid contaminant removal. The SFD is a standard suction line filter-drier for use after a burnout or when major work has been performed. The CSFD has a compact solid desiccant core perfect for short lay-in applications. The ASK utilizes a solid core with an activated carbon blend to maximize acid, moisture and wax removal. The ASF is a specifically designed filter to protect the compressor from dirt and all solid contaminants.
