Corona treatment system increases the surface tension of the fabrics respective to inks by inducing molecular changes in the surface of the films. This is done by exposing the air at the material's surface to a high-voltage electrical discharge - a corona. Corona discharge treatment at atmospheric pressure for improving adhesion of various polymer substract is now standard practice. As shown in the diagram the fabric is passed from free roller through the airgap between multisegmented electrode and the silicon roller which generates continuous shower of ionised air called as CORONA.The electerode and dielectric cover on the roller serves as the electric connection to the stream of ionized air in the airgap.

Antistatic air gun or Ionizing gun is the ideal technique of removing static, contaminants and dust from three dimensional parts before assembling, packaging, painting or finishing.The ion air nozzel neutralizes the static electricity and cleans at distances up to 2 feet. When ordinary compressed air is used to remove dust and air nozzel for cleaning purpose, its efficiency gets reduced. In case the static charge, which holds the dust to the product is not neutralized, both the the product and the dust will remain statically charged and capable of re-contamination.

Ions are present in normal air but are stripped out when an air is subject to filtration and conditioning. They are produced by radioactive emission or by phenomenon called corona discharge where a high voltage is applied to sharp point. All air ionization systems work by flooding the atmosphere with positive and negative ion, when ionized air comes in contact with a charge surface; the charge surface attracts ions of the opposite polarity. As a result the static electricity that has build up on products, equipment and surface is neutralized. Conductive air can neutralize the static charge on every surface that it contents. The field from the charged surface attracts ions of the opposite polarity until the charged on the surface is neutralized. The Static neutralizer is portable and uses a small fan to produce airflow. High voltages generated out of the supply line voltage are applied to stainless steel ion emitter points. These points produce intense alternating polarities, ionizing the air instantly in the fan airflow. The Static eliminator-neutralizer is designed for use when handling sensitive electronic components where electrostatic discharge is a problem. The unit can also used where static electricity causes problems such as; attraction of drift to product, misalignment of small parts due to electrostatic jumping and undesirable adhesion of plastic films due to electrostatic charge.

The Static Charger Meter is non-contact, hand held, light weight static monitoring and locating instrument. It utilises a precision LCD display to indicate the magnitude and polarity of the electrostatic charge. The static charge meter incorporates state-of-the-art circuitry, to enable measurements to be made for as long as 30 seconds without significant drift. In practice, measurement time is usually less than 10 seconds. The Static Charge Meter has good directional sensitivity and is ideal for measuring electric charges encountered in critical electronic assembly and storage areas as well as Antistatic Work Stations. It can also be used for Plastics, Paper, Textiles, Food, Explosives and Pharmaceutical Industries. The Static Charge Meter gives direct readings of electrostatic potentials on any surface, when held at a distance of 50 mm. However, virtually any electrostatic potential can be measured by proportionately increasing the distance from the meter to the charged object. The use of very low current circuitry results in a long battery life of over 6 months under normal use.
