Elmec produces hot runner heater by placing nickel chrome resistance wire in the tube made of nickel steel filled with magnesium oxide powder for effective heat transfer. The heaters are made to acquire strength so that it could be bent into any shape. Tape Heaters, Heater Pads and Thermocouples are also available

One of the important factor, to be considered in moulding of engineering thermoplastic materials is mould temperature. It is very essential to maintain optimum temperature in the mould while processing, to obtain perfect and precision moulded component. Elmec Heaters & Controllers has designed a compact mould temperature controller that heats and cools the mould to maintain optimum temperature in the mould.

Elmec Insulation jackets are made up of 3 layers. Inner layer is made of fibre glass cloth, Middle layer is made of 50 mm thick fibre blanket, Top layer is made of abrasion proof glass fabric which resists both dirt and plastic material. All these material can withstand temp upto 600 C. These insulation jackets are made with holes and cutouts wherever it is required and so it is easy to install over the barrels of Injection, Extrusion and Blow molding machines.
