Elizzyme Conc BioScour is a concentrated liquid formulation containing a pH-neutral pectate lyase enzyme. This enzyme belongs to the family of lyases, specifically those carbon-oxygen lyases acting on polysaccharides. The systematic name of this enzyme class is (1->4)-alpha-D-galacturo-nan lyase (CAS# 9015-75-2; EC or IUB 4.2.2.2).
Bioscouring is the use of pectate lyase combined with detergents/wetting agents to remove non-cellulosic impurities from cotton fibers. (Bio) scouring enhances cotton wettability and absor-bency.
Pectate lyase hydrolyzes pectin into soluble compounds facilitating the removal of other impurities (e.g. wax and protein) from the cotton during the bioscouring process.

Elizzyme Conc BioScour is a robust enzyme product with a broad pH and temperature profile (see table below), allowing usage in many different textile pre-treatment bioscouring applications.
The formulation can be used both as Ready-to-Use (RtU) product in combination with wetting agent, further diluted or blended with other auxiliaries. A formulation guideline is available upon request.

PROTEAZ 150 protease is a high-strength liquid proteolytic enzyme solution for use in liquid laundry detergents. This product is a very efficient detergent protease that provides good performance over a broad range of application conditions, including liquid detergents of various compositions and in wash temperatures in the range 25 – 60°C (68 – 144°F).
PROTEAZ 150 protease is a genetically modified bacterial endoprotease, which is an enzyme that hydrolyzes insoluble protein stains into soluble peptides in the interior of a protein chain. These hydrolysis products are small polypeptides that are then more easily removed during the washing process.
PROTEAZ 150 protease is particularly useful in removing common household stains such as blood, grass, milk, and food residues from soiled surfaces. The product is highly concentrated, has excellent color and stability in detergent formulations, and is conveniently handled and dosed.
PROPERTIES
PROTEAZ 150 protease is active over a broad range of pH values from 7 – 12 with optimum activity in the pH range 9 – 11, as depicted in Figure 1. Product performance testing has also resulted in good performance at lower pH levels.
PROTEAZ 150 protease exhibits maximum activity at about 50° C (122° F). Application studies have shown that PROTEAZ 150 protease has excellent performance characteristics within a broad temperature range (25 – 60°C) [68 – 144°F].
UNITS OF ACTIVITY
The proteolytic activity of PROTEAZ 150 enzyme is expressed in Properase Units (PU). The activity determination method is a modification of the Alkaline Delft Unit (ADU) method and is based on the proteolytic hydrolysis of casein at pH 10.
USAGE IN DETERGENT FORMULATIONS
Stability in Detergent Formulations
The stability of PROTEAZ 150 protease is determined by the composition of each individual liquid detergent. PROTEAZ 150 protease offers storage stability characteristics identical to or better than those of conventional proteases.
Several factors influence the stability of this enzyme product.
The following general rules apply:
Depending on the particular formulation of the liquid detergent, over 85% residual activity is available after 6 weeks’ storage at 30° C (94° F).
Concentration
The determination of the exact amount of PROTEAZ 150 protease required for laundry applications should be based upon wash conditions, detergent formulae, amount of detergent used per wash, and the level of cleaning performance desired. Small-scale tests should be performed to determine the appropriate enzyme dosage before production begins. Actual dosing is easily accomplished using volumetric dosing equipment.
Compatibility with Detergent Ingredients
PROTEAZ 150 protease shows excellent performance characteristics in a wide variety of detergent formulations and is compatible with other enzymes, such as lipases, amylases and cellulases.

PACKAGING & STORAGE STABILITY
PROTEAZ 150 enzyme is available in 25 liter pails and 225 liter drums.
Under normal handling and storage conditions, PROTEAZ 150 enzyme remains stable for at least four months. To retain maximum enzyme activity, this product should be stored at moderate temperatures in the original container with the lid closed. Shelf life is increased when the product is stored at lower temperatures.
Elizzyme Super Conc Amylase enzyme is a highly concentrated liquid-for-mulated alpha amylase for textiles desizing over a wide tempera-ture range.
Due to its outstanding performance at application tempera-tures ranging from 20°C (68°F) to 120°C (248°F), Elizzyme Super Conc Amylase enzyme is the ideal amylase to use for desizing fabrics sized with starch, starch derivatives or blends of starch and other synthetic materials.
The formulation of Elizzyme Super Conc Amylase has been designed to accommodate further addition of a variety of chemical auxilia-ries in order to assist our customers in di erentiating their desizing product line.

The optimum dosage of desizing products containing Elizzyme Super Conc Amylase enzyme will of course depend on dilution factor, parameters related to the fabric such as: type and nature of size; quantity of size; fabric construction; storage conditions of the sized fabrics; and to (desizing) process conditions such as: process pH and temperature, equipment used, subsequent treatments, water conditions, water hardness, etc.
FORMULATIONElizzyme Super Conc Amylase enzyme is a highly concentrated amylase. It can be easily reformulated to ready-to-use liquid desizing products. Detailed dilution guidelines for Elizzyme Super Conc Amylase enzyme are available upon request. Chemical auxiliaries, wetting agents, detergents, scouring agents, or solvent scours can be used with all applications of Elizzyme Super Conc Amylase enzyme. Auxiliaries enhance penetration and size swelling, along with assisting in the removal of waxes, soils, and synthetic sizing materials. Whenever auxiliary chemicals are used in conjunction with desizing enzymes, check to ensure that the auxiliaries are compatible with the enzyme.
Typically non-ionic surfactants are suitable for combination with enzymes whereas anionic and cationic surfactants may disrupt enzyme activity.
Lubricants are generally recommended to be used in combination with amylase enzymes during desizing to reduce the formation of crease marks and streaks. e addition of lubricants is especially recommended when desizing in rotary washers, in jet dye machines, or in preparation for denim washing.

Elizzyme uses state-of-the-art biotechnology methods. The catalase is produced by a genetically modified micro-organism in a fermentation process. The product is biodegradable and the degradation products of hydrogen peroxide have no effect on dyestuffs.
Elizzyme Super Conc Catalase has been proven to be highly effective in catalyzing the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide into oxygen and water. In textile processing, this is often the most preferred mode of hydrogen peroxide removal after bleaching. The method with catalase allows the use of a more simplified process to remove peroxide in an economical and environmentally friendly manner, compared to traditional methods of peroxide removal
