Air Enterainment Meter
The apparatus consists of a pressure tight flanged cylindrical measuring bowl of specified volume in accordance with size of aggregate to be tested. The bowl is fitted with a removable flanged conical cover assembly with the help of a airtight sealing gasket. The conical cover has an air valve and a pet cock for bleeding off the water. A transparent cylindrical stand pipe, which is graduated in air content, is fixed to the conical cover assembly.

IntroductionHand operatedWith Automatic TimerHand Operated :The apparatus consist of a cast aluminium base with an iron stand on which moves an aluminium arm. A 6" dial is fixed on this arm and a brass chromium plated rod slide through the lower portion of the arm. A needle with weights is fitted to this rod. The dial is graduated from 0-400 in one tenth millimeter sub division. Supplied complete with adjustable needle holder, penetration needle sample container, transfer dish and weight of 50 gms.With Automatic Timer :Same as above but with automatic digital timer and electrical arrangement.
