RAVAS Supplies

RAVAS supplies a complete range of truck scales for mounting on forklift trucks. For simple check weighing, where a high accuracy is not required, there is the RCS hydraulic load indication system.

Simple check weighingAn oil pressure sensor is installed onto the hydraulic circuit of the forklift by means of a T-coupling. The indicator in the cabin translates the measurement into a weight indication of the load on the forks. The RCS has a limited accuracy, with a possible error of maximum 2% of the lifting capacity of the truck. The system is meant for simple check weighing, such as the checking for incoming goods, and for avoiding the overloading of lorries, warehouse racking and the forklift truck itself.

RCS HY-Q

RCS HY-Q: accurate weight and overload indication in one system

RCS Hy-Q is a high accuracy hydraulic scale for counterbalanced trucks and reach trucks, with a full color graphic driver display. Weighing the load UP and DOWN reduces sensitivity for out of center loads, making RCS Hy-Q ideal for use in combination with roll clamps or side-shifters on the truck. On a 2.5T lift truck the RCS Hy-Q shows the weight on the forks in 2 kg increments, with a +/- 5 kg maximum error. In addition to the weight, the display also provides an overload indication in the form of a graphic load bar.
The RCS Hy-Q does not require a manifold block or return line to the hydraulic tank of the truck, but only uses a pressure sensor that is installed on a hydraulic lead via a T-piece. This makes the installation of the RCS Hy-Q easy and cost efficient. It also makes the system safer to use: an uncommanded descent of the forks because of a stuck valve is not possible.

RAVAS-SAFECHECK

The RAVAS-SafeCheck is a simple and affordable safety system for forklift trucks, with an audio alarm that goes off when the weight on the forks exceeds a preset limit. The alarm only switches off again once the load descends below the limit again.
An oil pressure sensor is installed onto the hydraulic circuit of the forklift by means of a T-coupling. The indicator in the cabin translates the measurement into a weight indication of the load on the forks. Over the keypad of the indicator a maximum allowed load can be entered. Every time that load on the forks exceeds that value, the warning buzzer goes off.
The system is powered by the truck battery and automatically switches on when the truck starts, so its active whenever the truck is operative.

RAVAS-SafeLoad

The RAVAS-SafeLoad uses information from a hydraulic sensor and a set of sensors that measures the moment forces from load center position and mast tilt, to present stability information in the display. A led bar below the weight display goes from green (safe lifting), via yellow, to red (unsafe lifting: risk of tipping over). The led bar stability indication is enhanced by the color of the weight display (green backlight in safe situations, red backlight in unsafe situations), and by a fork in the weight display that is divided in three segments, one of them blinking to indicate the load center position on the forks.
An example: on a 2.5 Ton lift truck a load of 1.853 kg picked up close to the carriage plate might result in a weight indication of 1.850 kg in the display, against a green background, with the middle fork segment blinking for a load center point at 500-600mm, and four green LEDs lit up on the LED bar. However, the same load picked up at the fork tips will result in the same 1.850 kg in the display, but against a red background for unsafe lifting, with the right side fork segment blinking (LCP at 800 1.000 mm), the red segments on the LED bar lit up, and a warning buzzer going off.

IFORKS

iForks is the successful wireless scale for forklift trucks, reach trucks and narrow aisle trucks. Performance Line iForks provide a highly accurate weight read-out in 1 kg display steps, and are available in legal for trade version OIML III. Extended scale functions include parts counting and entry of ID codes with every weight recorded. The Performance Line version of iForks is also able to communicate bi-directionally with WMS or ERP systems, via Bluetooth or Wifi connection.
Resistant for rough use and very compactEach scale fork communicates the weight lifted with the weight indicator in the cabin via Bluetooth, so completely wireless. The weighing system is powered by robust, exchangeable battery modules. All electronics and power components are exclusively developed by RAVAS for the iForks concept. Which is why they are not only resistant to rough use, but also extremely compact, keeping the fork dimensions (w x h = 133 x 58 mm) very close to those of standard lift truck forks and making sure that the user does not loose any handling performance.
Completely wireless forklift scaleThe iForks weight indicator in the cabin shows the weight of the load on the forks and offers a complete range of weighing functions: gross/net weighing, total weight per shipment, code entry, date/time registration, and piece counting. The indicator can provide weight data transfer to a printer, a data terminal, or directly to a WMS or ERP system, via RS232, or wireless via Bluetooth or WiFi. The display is equipped with backlight, making it perfectly readable even in the darkest corners of a warehouse or production environment. iForks offers Digital Calibration Technology: via the keys of the indicator the scale can be digitally adjusted, quickly and accurately. Which makes for a very maintenance friendly weighing system and low cost of ownership.

DIMENSIONING AND DATA CAPTURE

Cubetape is a low cost dimensioning and data collectiondevice. It identifi es a pallet load, measures its size and capturesits weight via the RAVAS mobile scale. These data can then betransferred to other devices or to a host application.
Cubetape is fully compatible with RAVAS UniMobile andUniWin software and integrates seamlessly with Transport andLogistics applications on PC and PDA platforms.
In shipping, goods receiving and on the road, Cubetapeaccurately captures critical item and measurement data andtransfers these data, using wired or wireless technologies. It includes a replaceable 3m x 19mm measurement tape, communications via cable or Bluetooth, optional display, Li-ionrechargeable battery, and confi gurable workfl ow options.
Cubetape can be integrated with other devices used inTransport and Logistics applications, including PCs, PDAsand printers. It can be supplied with an integrated barcodescanner, and Cubetape is designed to operate with existingPDA and PC infrastructure.
Cubetape can be integrated with existing applications withno additional software using the Bluetooth HID profi le, or theSDK can provide full access to Cubetape functions in a .NETenvironment.
