Hot Work Tool Steel
Chromium hot-work tool steels are classified as group h steels by the aisi classification system. We have in ready stock 1.2344, h 13, 1.2343, h 11 grade steel in rounds and flats.
The cold-work tool steels include the O series (oil-hardening) and the D series (high carbon-chromium). They have high surface hardness and are often used to make knife blades. We have in ready stock D2, 1.2379, D3, 1.2080, O1, 1.2510 in rounds and flats
We stock Tool Steel for Plastic Moulds in Rounds and Flats supplied in pre hardened condition with 28HRC to 34HRC in Grades P20, 1.2311, P20 + Ni, 1.2738, 1.2312
