The cooled water will be below 140 F when it is displaced by the next blow down and forced out of the overflow drainpipe

A Deaerator is a device that is widely used for the removal of oxygen and other dissolved gases from the feed water to steam-generatng boilers. Most Deaerators are designed to remove oxygen down to levels of 7 ppb by weight (0.005cm5L) or less as well as essentially eliminating carbon dioxide.
