Application

To extend the capabilities of our Electro-dynamic shakers we offer a wide range of vertical attachment called as Head Expanders which are required for testing in vertical/Z- axis of larger size specimens which cannot be directly mounted on the shaker head.

The Bump Test Machine is used to test the integrity & rigidity of object under the simulation of Road/field Transport conditions.
The Bump Test Machine is having a rigid steel structure to sustain the force of loaded Platform up to 1000 Kg object for desirable half Sine shape , after striking freely on rubber pad mounted on top surface of machine structure.
The mounting platform lifts vertically up to the desired impact acceleration through a Cam arrangement and drops freely on the rubber pads gives the desired acceleration level of half Sine Pulse shape on the top surface of the platform where object is mounting.
The desired Bump acceleration depends on the free fall height of platform to rubber pad which is factory set. The duration of half Sine pulse shape depends on the hardness & thickness of rubber pads. The fixed rubber pads will be used for generating the half Sine pulse shapes of desired ;g; and duration(in ms).
The moving platform is having a grid of 100 mm x 100 mm threaded M10/M12 holes to mount the object on the top surface of platform under test. The moving platform lifts freely to vertically through cam arrangements with the help of 4 nos. linear bearings & centric rod which is connected to cam arrangement guided by a set of four deep groove single bolt bearing to avoid any thirst of the vertical rod.
A suitable AC Motor along with speed reducer gearbox is used to achieve the desired bump rate 1 to 3bumps/sec. The motor is run through 3-phase AC drive also having the safety protections of Over Load, Under Voltage & Over Current for the safe operation of the machine.The Machine is to be be installed on a floor. Grouting (foundation) is recommended to overcome the movement. Controls should be easily accessible and visible for the operator and still allow adequate working room to perform fixturing and testing.

Mechanical Shake Table

Description

The Mechanical Shake Table is a low cost system to do vibration testing to test the integrity & rigidity of object under the simulation of external vibration condition.
The Mechanical Shake Table is having a rigid steel structure to sustain the force of loaded Platform up to 100 Kg object for 0.5'g' to 20'g' Sine shape of variable adjustable frequency from 1 to 60Hz.The mounting platform lifts vertically up to the desired impact acceleration through a Cam arrangement which gives the desired acceleration level of Sine wave on the top surface of the platform where object is mounted. The motor is driven by an AC drive which has in built protection and control.

Centrifuge Acceleration Test Machine

Centrifuge Acceleration Test Machine is used to test the object for a defined Centrifugal force exerted on it when it is placed on a rotary platform at a certain radial distance.
Centrifuge Machine for Acceleration is used to analyze the mechanical behavior of parts and assemblies subjected to linear acceleration. It is used in the Avionics and military hardware testing, Satellite component testing, R&D laboratories and system qualification testing, product development, reliability, Stress screening etc as per relevant ISO, IEC, JSS 55555, MIL and other international Standards.
The centrifuge machine for acceleration has a robust structure that consists of an outer enclosure for safety point of view to withstand centrifugal force acting on the test object. It consists of a rotating platform which can accommodate a wide variety of payloads, in various sizes and load at a required radial distance from centre to achieve the desired acceleration. The machine is driven by AC/DC motor. The speed of motor is varied by the IGBT based PWM type AC/DC drive with instrumentation system having built-in digital closed loop control.
Electrical/ electronic, Data transfer, connections are available thru' various terminals for actual working conditions and test environment.

Centrifuge Acceleration Test Machine also called a linear acceleration test systems. The system consists in two parts one Mechanical body with motor arrangement coupled with rotating arm and second electronics control panel Speed control unit. A AC/DC Motor is used to rotate the platform mounted on the rotating shaft. Set of current rating slip rings are provided to feed the electrical signal to the specimen under dynamic test condition. System is safe from all protections like Over load, field fail, Door interlock etc.

The system should be installed on a floor. Machine should be positioned such that there is ample clearance for opening doors and for removal of panels and covers from all sides. Controls should be easily accessible and visible for the operator and still allow adequate working room to perform fixturing and testing.The Machine structure is a heavy duty in construction & made of M.S. angles & sheets. Its lower hollow portion contains DC motor and a vertical rotating shaft is mounted. The upper half portion is in octagon shape where the rectangular platform is coupled at the top end of the vertical shaft.

the free fall shock machine is designed to produce classical shock wave shapes by by dropping a platform supported on rods and bearings. The platform drop height is pre-settable for shock pulse repeatability. Peak acceleration levels are based on drop height while time duration is a function of the programmer provided, elastomer pads for half-sine, lead pellets for saw-tooth and pneumatic cylinders for square and trapezoidal wave pulses.
every machine is supplied with brakes to prevent repeated impacts and incorporate a heavy steel reaction mass mounted on springs with isolators/dampers to isolate the shock from the floor and which will not deteriorate under repeated bumps. The structure is supported on four passive air springs to isolate the bump pulses from the floor as it is designed for high 'g'.
the test item shall be mounted to a solid al/ms carriage with steel inserts in the top surface. The platform is supported and guided by the lifting and driving piston rod.
the pc based hardware and software is used for transfer, storing, saving, retrieval and taking graphs/waveform printout shall be provided. Computer compatible for the control of the bump test system like pneumatics, falling of platform and hydraulic brakes shall be provided.

Combo Base Horizontal Slip Table

The slip table works on the principle of an oil film maintained between granite surface and slip plate supported by low/high pressure oil bearings to eliminate overturning moments. An oil film is automatically created through a closed loop system, when the oil pump coupled with the motor is started.
These are ideally suited and designed for testing of medium and heavy loads & voluminous specimen/objects in X & Y direction. The bearings are designed to restrain pitch, roll & yaw moment. Ambient and combined environment (Vibration + thermal) testing are also supported.

Combo base

Slip tables can be used standalone with optional seismic base or integrated on a common base with a vibration shaker. Slip tables can be integrated with a vibration system, mounted on a combo base. A unique trunion and guidance bearing assembly provides simple shaker rotation capability and body vibration isolation. The electro-dynamic shaker can be rotated to vertical position for one axis and then to the horizontal position where it is connected to a horizontal slip plate through a drive bar/coupling for other two axis testing.


Construction

The discharge of hydraulic oil is supplied by hydraulic pump for supplying oil to the bearings and for formation of oil film on the granite block. Pressure gauge is provided for reference.
The slip table platform made up of Mg has object mounting facility through replaceable SS inserts. The Slip Table structure is finished in glossy and metallic coating of latest polyurethane paint with various contours.
