Dubond’s Hydro Coat is one pack, flexible, cement-based capillary waterproofing with carbonation inhibiting properties. It adheres to all types of surface which provides a solution to leakage, seepage or ingress of water / moisture in concrete by sealing capillaries and shrinkage cracks in both positive and negative side of the structure. Hydro coat penetrates into pores of substrate by capillary action and is channelled to the lower depths of concrete by inherent moisture therein, including those occurring even in the smallest pores and capillaries. Hydro Coat reacts with moisture and creates a continuous barrier of insoluble minerals as the product consists of high strength binders, selected silicon / quartz mineral charges with synthetic fibers and specific additives. The capillaries are permanently blocked to the passage of water. However, vapour may ass through allowing structure to breathe. Rate and penetration of minerals depends on presence of moisture, free lime and density of concrete.

  • Penetrates deep into the capillary tracts and shrinkage cracks and can seal both positive and negative side of concrete structure.
  • Protects against water borne corrosive chemicals that can cause corrosion of reinforcement.
  • Non-reacted chemicals remain active and will react in contact with water providing additional protection against leakage.
  • With stand high and low temperature Vapour permeability.
  • Very flexible.
  • Does not age.

Method of Application

  • Ensure that structure is sound and free from dirt, soil, oil release agents, laitance and any other foreign materials which may impair the bond, penetration and/ or the overall performance of Hydro Coat.
  • In case of smooth concrete surface, the surface should be water cleaned / sand blasted or acid etched to ensure that the concrete surface has an open capillary system.
  • Ensure to fill cracks / honeycombs / holes / faulty construction joints with Dubond Acrylic Crack Filler and allow it to touch dry.
  • Ensure to hydroprime the surface before applying Hydro Coat to facilitate maximum chemical penetration.
  • Use the wire brush to scrub out the loose particles and blow it out to make it dust free before the application of Hydro prime. Take 1 liter of Hydroprime with 100% dilution ( ie 1 liter of water ) and apply 2 coats at the interval of 4 hours gap time between both coats.
  • Add 4 – 4.5 Ltrs of water with 10 Kgs of Hydro Coat, stir the mix thoroughly to form slurry and apply, in specified quantities, by stiff bristle brush or squeegee. Ensure to prepare only as much amount of slurry as can be applied during its pot time i.e. 20 minutes. ( can add or reduce water as per the site conditions ) Ensure the desired thickness in each coat of application.
  • For horizontal surface apply in one coat while for vertical surface apply in two coats. Apply second coat when first coat is touch-dry. Glass fiber mesh can be used as a sandwitch between the layers of coat as reinforcement system which ensures tight bonding to restrain from the hydrostatic preassure.
  • Light spray of water may be required between coats in hot/ dry climates.
  • In extreme hot weather and very low humidity conditions, ensure curing as soon as the Hydro Coat coating has hardened sufficiently.
  • After 36 – 48 hours of the application of 2 coats ponding can be done to the satisfaction of the engineer for the final testing of waterproofing. Recommended for 3 to 4 days.

Duplast CI Concrete Admixture

  • Color: Greenish Liquid
  • Specific Gravity Approx. 1.3

Duplast CI is a calcium nitrite-based admixture designed to inhibit the corrosion of steelin reinforced concrete. Duplast CI contains a minimum of 30% calcium nitrite by mass and meets the requirements of ASTM C 1582, Corrosion Inhibiting Admixture and ASTM C494, Type C, Accelerating Admixture.

Areas of Application

  • In the high alkalinity of concrete, reinforcing steel builds up a natural passivation layer. This layer protects the steel from corrosion. This passive ferric oxide layer however can be damaged by the presence of chlorides and combined with the presence of moisture and oxygen which will lead to corrosion of the steel.
  • Duplast CI will help oxidize the steel to form ferric oxide, which resists chloride attack. This reduces the areas of ferrous oxide ions that are susceptible to attack by chlorides. Ferrous oxide creates a ferrous oxide complex (rust), if attacked by chlorides. In the presence of these chlorides, rust continues to generate in these areas (corrosion pits) and ultimately leads to staining, cracking and spalling of the concrete.
  • Duplast CI fortifies the ferric oxide passivating layer prior to the penetration of chlorides. The nitrite ions in Duplast CI will convert ferrous oxide to more resistant ferric oxide, thereby protecting the steel reinforcement from corroding.

Advantages

  • Duplast CI is recommended for conventional steel reinforcement as well as pre- stressed or posttensioned concrete that will be exposed to chlorides from marine environments or deicing salts.
  • Duplast CI will extend the service life of structures by effectively inhibiting corrosion, in areas such as parking garage decks and support structures, bridge decks, marine structures and many others.
  • Duplast CImay also is used in concrete elements where chlorides are added initially to the concrete mix. Duplast CI is a corrosion-inhibiting admixture that provides protection against corrosion in reinforced concrete structures.
  • Duplast CI: Extends the service life of reinforced concrete structures. Is recommended for use in all types of reinforced concrete, precast and/or pre-stressed concrete as well as ready mix applications.

How to UseThe recommended dosage rate will vary between 10-30 L /? ? of concrete, depending on the severity of the corrosion environment. In absence of a specified dosage rate, please contact your local Dubond representative. Adjust water content accordingly. Duplast CI may accelerate the setting time. In order to prevent slump loss or finishing characteristics, a set retarding admixture, like Duplast , may be required, especially in warm weather application. The full accelerating effect of Duplast CI may be used for cold weather concreting.

MixingMeasure the required quantity manually or by automated dispenser. Add Duplast CI directly into the freshly mixed concrete at the end of the batching cycle. When used in combination with other admixtures, care must be taken to dispense each admixture separately into the mix. Mix water adjustment is necessary to account for the water in Duplast CI and thus, maintain the required water/cementitious ratio. The batch water must be adjusted by reducing 0.839 kg of water per Liter of Duplast CI.

CompatibilityDuplast CI can be used with Portland cements compliant with ASTM, AASHTO or CRD specifications. It can be used in combination with other Dubond admixtures water reducers, super plasticizers, set retarders and air entrainment agents. Admixtures have to be added separately to the concrete mix in order to deliver the results required. Duplast CI may slightly reduce the entrained air content and a higher dosage of the air entrainment agent may be required.

Storage and Shelf LifeDuplast CI should be stored above 5°C. If frozen, thaw out and agitate thoroughly to return to normal state before use. Shelf life when stored in dry warehouse conditions between 10°C - 27°C is two years minimum.

Duplast WPR Concrete Admixture

  • Appearance Brown liquid
  • Specific gravity 1.150 - 1.170 @250C
  • Chloride content Nil to IS: 456
  • Air entrainment Typically less than 1.5%. Additional air is entrained at normal dosages
  • Alkali content Typically less than 5.0g Na2O equivalent / liter of admixture

Duplast WRP is a chloride free water reducing admixture, is is based on selected sugarreduced lignosulphonates. It is supplied as a brown solution which instantly disperses in water. Duplast WRP disperses the fine particles in the concrete mix, enabling the water content of the concrete to perform more effectively and improving the consistency of the concrete. This produces higher levels of workability for the same water content, allowing benefits such as water reduction and increased strengths to be taken.

Areas of ApplicationTo improve the effectiveness of the water content of a concrete mix. Higher dosages provide effective means of reducing concrete permeability and thereby reducing water penetration.

AdvantagesAllows specified strength grades to be met at reduced cement content or increased workability. Water reduction significantly improves compressive strengths at all ages and enhances durability through the production of low permeability concrete. Minimizes the risk of segregation and bleeding and assists in the production of a dense, close textured surface, improving durability. Chloride free, safe for use in prestressed and reinforced

Typical PropertiesDuplast WPR conforms to IS: 9103-1999. It also complies with IS: 2645: 2003 as an integral waterproofing compound and ASTM C494 Type A as a normal water reducing admixture

Effect of over dosageAn overdose of double the intended amount of Duplast WPR will result in an increase in retardation as compared to that normally obtained at the intended dosage. This effect is found with most water reducing admixtures although the degree may vary. Retardation is affected by factors other than the admixture depending on the mix details and conditions involved. Trials to assess the effects in a particular mix are strongly recommended if this aspect is of particular importance, provided that adequate curing is maintained. The ultimate strength of the concrete will not be impaired by increased retardation and will generally be increased. The effects of overdosing will be further increased if sulphate resisting cement or cement replacement materials are used. Over dosage may also cause increased air entrainment, which will tend to reduce strength. The degree of this effect will depend on the particular mix design and overdose level. An overdose will tend to increase the plasticizing effect of the admixture. As concrete is normally batched to target workability, increased plasticizing will allow an increasing ultimate strength and partially or fully offsetting the effect of any increased air entrainment. If no increase in water reduction is taken and a significant rise in workability is allowed the chance of segregation may be higher. Increased initial workability will tend to extend the working life of the concrete, which will delay finishing and stiffening time to some extent.

DosageThe optimum dosage of Duplast WPR to meet specific requirements should always be determined by trials using the materials and conditions that will be experienced in use. This allows the optimisation of admixture dosage and mix design and provides a complete assessment of the concrete mix. A starting point for such trials is to use a dosage within the normal typical range of 0.20 to 0.50 litres / 100kg of cementitious material, including PFA, GGBFS and microsilica.

CompatibilityDuplast WPR is compatible with other Dubond admixtures in the same concrete mix. All admixtures should be added to the concrete separately and must not be mixed together prior to addition. The performance of concrete containing more than one admixture should be assessed by the trial mix procedure recommended in this data sheet to ensure that, effects such as unwanted retardation do not occur. Duplast WPR is suitable for use with all types of ordinary Portland cements and cement replacement materials such as PFA, GGBFS and micro silica.Reducing water permeability (‘waterproofing’) One of the most effective means by which the water permeability of a concrete mix can be reduced is to make a large reduction in water-cement ratio. Duplast WPR can be used to provide such a reduction and to produce a concrete with the benefits of low permeability.

StorageDuplast WPR has a minimum shelf life of 12 months provided the temperature is kept within the range of 20º C to 40º C.

Safety and PrecautionsDuplast WPR does not fall into the hazard classifications. However, it should not be swallowed or allowed to come into contact with the skin and eyes. Suitable protective gloves and goggles should be worn. Splashes on the skin should be removed with water. Duplast CC-WB Concrete Admixture

  • Supply form Liquid
  • Colour as supplied Milky White
  • Applied film White coat
  • Density 0.99 kg/L
  • Application temperature Above 5˚C
  • Packaging Duplast CC-WB is available in 20 liter pails, 100 liter & 200 liters drums.

Dubond's Duplast CC-WB is a ready to use, liquid membrane curing compound based on selected grades of low viscosity paraffin wax emulsion which incorporates a special reactive emulsion breaking system. This system ensures that the emulsion breaks down to form a non-penetrating continuous film immediately upon contact with a cementitious surface. This impervious film permits more efficient cement hydration, thus reducing shrinkage and increasing durability. Once formed, the membrane will remain on the concrete surface until eventually broken down and eroded by natural weathering. Where it is required to apply a further treatment to such concrete surface, it may be necessary to remove the remaining membrane after curing, by wire brushing or other mechanical means.

Uses

  • Duplast CC-WB is suitable for :
  • Paraffin Wax Based Concrete Curing Compound
  • Paraffin Wax based, concrete curing compound
  • Curing external concrete paving
  • For spraying on freshly casted concrete, or newly exposed concrete surfaces after removal of frame work, to form a temporary membrane which will retain sufficient moisture for effective curing to take place.
  • For vertical or sloping surfaces as on Towers, Chimneys, Canal Linings, Columns and Beams where curing is difficult or unreliable in terms of un availability of sufficient and continious water supply for curing.
  • Used for concreting generally but especially useful for large areas of concrete such as Pavements, Runways and Bridge Decks Duplast CC-WB is not recommended for application where subsequent renders, toppings or coatings are to be applied or on coloured concrete surfaces.

  • Avoids messy and repetitive water curing.
  • Easy and safe Spray or Brush application.
  • Eliminates use of water, hession cloth or sand completely.
  • Ensures hard wearing surface - minimizes risk of drying shrinkage cracks and dusty surfaces.
  • Facilitates more efficient hydration of cement for greater strength and superior wear Improves moisture retention in concrete No harmful vapours.
  • No risk of erratic or poor curing and ensures hydration of cement efficiently.
  • Not a fire hazard.
  • One time application.
  • Prevents rapid water evaporation.
  • Reduced plastic shrinkage cracks and dusting resistance.

Safe to useSaves labour.Single application forms moisture barrier for whole of the curing period.Water basedWhite pigmented so easy to identify and Better reflections.

Typical Properties

  • Duplast CC-WB complies with the internationally recognized ASTM C 309-74 standard.
  • The water loss for Duplast CC-WB of 0.29 kg/M² in 72 hours when applied at 200 ml/M² is considerably more efficient than the maximum permissible water loss of 0.55 kg/M² in ASTM 309-74.

Direction for Use

  • Use Duplast CC-WB as supplied with 20 % dilution with water. Stir well before use.
  • (rolling drums containing the product is an effective method).
  • Apply after the final finishing operation as soon as the concrete surface has hardened sufficiently to prevent marring.
  • Delaying the application until the next day will allow substantial loss of moisture reducing the effectiveness of the curing membrane. The surface should be damp but with no free water on it.
  • In the case of formed concrete, apply immediately after striking the formwork.
  • If the surface has dried out, dampen the concrete before application. For best results, apply an even coat by a low pressure spray equipment ( In all cases the nozzle of the spray of the spray should be held approximately 450 mm from the concrete surface and should be passed back and forth to ensure complete and even coverage. The pump pressure should be maintained at a level to produce a fine spray. Rate of application depends on requirements but is typically within the range of 160 ml to
  • 200 ml / M² 96 psi to 5 M² per ltr.)or with a wide short nap roller or brush.
  • With all methods, take adequate care to prevent marring of the concrete surface.
  • Apply the curing compound evenly on all exposed concrete surfaces at a minimum rate of 5-6 M²/L so as to form a continuous film.

Estimated Coverage DataActual coverage depends upon the method of application, the texture and porosity of the surface. The recommended coverageof Duplast CC-WB is 5-6 M²/L. Material requirement therefore is 0.2 L/M² after dilution of 20 % with water in single coatdepending upon the substrate.

Storage & Shelf LifeDuplast CC-WB can be stored in unopened original containers for 12 months from date of manufacture at constant moderate temperatures between 4°C to 40°C. Containers should be kept airtight to prevent surface evaporation. Freezing or prolonged to direct heat or direct sunlight must also be avoided.

Saftey PrecautionsDuplast CC-WB is non toxic and does not normally require any special precaution while handling. Fire : Not flammable. It is advisable to wear goggles when spraying.Inhalation of the spray should similarly be avoided. Should excessive skin contact with the compound occur the area of skin should be washed with soap and water. If Duplast CC-WB comes into contact with the eye should be flushed with clean water for ten minutes. If irritation persists, medical attention should be sought.

DUPUMP eases hydraulic pressure in the pump and pipe line and optimizes pump capacity when using “sticky” concrete mixes. DUPUMP is environment friendly and is not harmful to concrete, like chlorides or active air entraining substances.

UsesA knowledgeable operator and DUPUMP is a great combination. Operators dislike pump blockages as much you do. Once they understand how well Dupump works, they will insist on using it every time. Thus, the number of pump blockages will be minimized. The need for fewer expensive elbows and pipe is like money in the bank. Pump the tough jobs. DUPUMP used as a pump aid lets you do jobs that others have failed on. When a construction manager sees that you can pump a job that others cannot, you gain a customer. Faster priming means less time on job and more jobs, i.e., more revenue per day

Advantage and Benefits

  • Increases pump capacity – reduces pressure in concrete pump and pipes.
  • C lean and easy preparation of the primer.
  • I n 5 minutes the equivalent primer is ready, as opposed to lugging sacks of sand and cement.
  • R eady – to – use in pre – weighed pouches of 210gms, which corresponds to the equivalent contents of 50-150 kg of cement.
  • S uperior concrete pump capacity.
  • M inimizes wear and abrasion of concrete delivery pipes.
  • O utstanding time saving produces enhanced transport efficiency.
  • T he risk of “stop” and “block” is reduced to virtually nil.

Storage Life

  • It is better than using the old methods:
  • D UPUMP is cheaper.
  • D UPUMP is a time saver.
  • D UPUMP is easy to mix and use, therefore operators will love to use it.
  • D UPUMP is easy to store on the pump and transit mixer.
  • D UPUMP cuts maintenance costs.
  • DUPUMP slurry can be directly added to the prime ports of pumps or can be placed directly in hoppers.

Method of UseAdd 1 pouch of 210gms DUPUMP to 25-30 litres of clean tap water and mix for 1-2 minutes. A sticky jelly texture will develop. Allow it to stand for 5-7 minutes. Add 120-150 litre of clean tap water. Now, pour Dupump slurry into the hopper. It will allow the slurry to be charged in the system ahead of the concrete. For better results, wetting of pipes before starting the priming of pipe.

Duplast CI

  • Color Greenish Liquid
  • Specific Gravity Approx. 1.3
Duplast CI is a calcium nitrite-based admixture designed to inhibit the corrosion of steel in reinforced concrete. Duplast CI contains a minimum of 30% calcium nitrite by mass and meets the requirements of ASTM C 1582, Corrosion Inhibiting Admixture and ASTM C494, Type C, Accelerating Admixture

Areas of Application

In the high alkalinity of concrete, reinforcing steel builds up a natural passivation layer. This layer protects the steel from corrosion. This passive ferric oxide layer however can be damaged by the presence of chlorides and combined with the presence of moisture and oxygen which will lead to corrosion of the steel.

Duplast CI will help oxidize the steel to form ferric oxide, which resists chloride attack. This reduces the areas of ferrous oxide ions that are susceptible to attack by chlorides. Ferrous oxide creates a ferrous oxide complex (rust), if attacked by chlorides. In the presence of these chlorides, rust continues to generate in these areas (corrosion pits) and ultimately leads to staining, cracking and spalling of the concrete

Duplast CI fortifies the ferric oxide passivating layer prior to the penetration of chlorides. The nitrite ions in Duplast CI will convert ferrous oxide to more resistant ferric oxide, thereby protecting the steel reinforcement from corroding.

Advantages

Duplast CI is recommended for conventional steel reinforcement as well as pre- stressed or posttensioned concrete that will be exposed to chlorides from marine environments or deicing salts. Duplast CI will extend the service life of structures by effectively inhibiting corrosion, in areas such as parking garage decks and support structures, bridge decks, marine structures and many others. Duplast CImay also is used in concrete elements where chlorides are added initially to the concrete mix. Duplast CI is a corrosion-inhibiting admixture that provides protection against corrosion in reinforced concrete structures. Duplast CI:

  • Extends the service life of reinforced concrete structures.
  • Is recommended for use in all types of reinforced concrete, precast and/or pre-stressed concrete as well as ready mix applications.
How to Use

The recommended dosage rate will vary between 10-30 L /? ? of concrete, depending on the severity of the corrosion environment.

]

Mixing

Measure the required quantity manually or by automated dispenser.

Compatibility

Duplast CI can be used with Portland cements compliant with ASTM, AASHTO or CRD specifications.

Storage and Shelf Life

Duplast CI should be stored above 5°C. If frozen, thaw out and agitate thoroughly to return to normal state before use. Shelf life when stored in dry warehouse conditions between 10°C - 27°C is two years minimum.

Additional Information:

Duplast WPR

  • Appearance Brown liquid
  • Spec. Gravity 1.150 - 1.170 @250C
  • Chlorine Content Nil to IS: 456
  • Air entrainment Typically less than 1.5%. Additional air is entrained at normal dosages
  • Alkali content Typically less than 5.0g Na2O equivalent / liter of admixture
Duplast WPR is a chloride free water reducing admixture, is is based on selected sugarreduced lignosulphonates. Areas of Application

To improve the effectiveness of the water content of a concrete mix.

Higher dosages provide effective means of reducing concrete permeability and thereby reducing water penetration.

Advantages

Allows specified strength grades to be met at reduced cement content or increased workability.

Water reduction significantly improves compressive strengths at all ages and enhances durability through the production of low permeability concrete.

Minimizes the risk of segregation and bleeding and assists in the production of a dense, close textured surface, improving durability.

Chloride free, safe for use in prestressed and reinforced.

Typical Properties

Duplast WPR conforms to IS: 9103-1999. It also complies with IS: 2645: 2003 as an integral waterproofing compound and ASTM C494 Type A as a normal water reducing admixture.

Effect of over dosage

An overdose of double the intended amount of Duplast WPR will result in an increase in retardation as compared to that normally obtained at the intended dosage.

Dosage

The optimum dosage of Duplast WPR to meet specific requirements should always be determined by trials using the materials and conditions that will be experienced in use.

Compatibility

Duplast WPR is compatible with other Dubond admixtures in the same concrete mix. All admixtures should be added to the concrete separately and must not be mixed together prior to addition. The performance of concrete containing more than one admixture should be assessed by the trial mix procedure recommended in this data sheet to ensure that, effects such as unwanted retardation do not occur.

Duplast WPR is suitable for use with all types of ordinary Portland cements and cement replacement materials such as PFA, GGBFS and micro silica.

One of the most effective means by which the water permeability of a concrete mix can be reduced is to make a large reduction in water-cement ratio. Duplast WPR can be used to provide such a reduction and to produce a concrete with the benefits of low permeability.

Storage

Dupump

DUPUMP is a powder packed in pre-weighed pouches to be mixed with water at site. It is a unique compound of high performance components, which offers superlative cost reductions by saving time and protecting pump and pipe line.

DUPUMP eases hydraulic pressure in the pump and pipe line and optimizes pump capacity when using “sticky” concrete mixes. DUPUMP is environment friendly and is not harmful to concrete, like chlorides or active air entraining substances.

Uses

A knowledgeable operator and DUPUMP is a great combination.

Faster priming means less time on job and more jobs, i.e., more revenue per day.

Advantage and Benefits

Increases pump capacity – reduces pressure in concrete pump and pipes.

Clean and easy preparation of the primer.

In 5 minutes the equivalent primer is ready, as opposed to lugging sacks of sand and cement.

Ready – to – use in pre – weighed pouches of 210gms, which corresponds to the equivalent contents of 50-150 kg of cement.

Superior concrete pump capacity.

Minimizes wear and abrasion of concrete delivery pipes.

Outstanding time saving produces enhanced transport efficiency.

The risk of “stop” and “block” is reduced to virtually nil.

Method of Use

Add 1 pouch of 210gms DUPUMP to 25-30 litres of clean tap water and mix for 1-2 minutes.

Storage Life

It is better than using the old methods:

  • DUPUMP is cheaper.
  • DUPUMP is a time saver.
  • DUPUMP is easy to mix and use, therefore operators will love to use it.
  • DUPUMP is easy to store on the pump and transit mixer.
  • DUPUMP cuts maintenance costs.
  • DUPUMP slurry can be directly added to the prime ports of pumps or can be placed directly in hoppers.

  • Green Building Rating
  • Mineral≥30%
  • Low Emission
  • Low Ecological Impact
  • Health Care
  • Water Based

Areas of Application

  • Water retaining structures and containment walls.
  • Walls & Floors of bathroom and toilets or places where there is a lot of moisture before the laying of ceramic wall tiles.
  • Basements, tunnels, machine pits, reservoirs, concrete walls , terraces, balconies, prior to fixing ceramic tiles particularly suitable for raised floors.
  • Restoring the waterproofing properties to old terraces without demolishing the existing floor surface.
  • Leveling cracked plaster or concrete.

Features & Benefits

  • Becomes an integral part of the concrete structures instead of merely being a surface coating or membrane that can damage or delaminate.
  • Can be used on all type of substrates Does not require special protection during back filling, placement of reinforcement or other procedures necessary to protect a surface type waterproofing systems.

Precautions & Limitations

  • Do not use any type of chemical or solvent for the dilution or making the slurry of Hydro Coat.
  • Only potable water is recommended for the best of the result.

Health & Safety Precautions

In case of contact with the eyes, it should be rinsed immediately with plenty of ater and medical advice sought immediately. If swallowed medical attention sought immediately - Vomiting should not be induced.

]

Mixing

Measure the required quantity manually or by automated dispenser.

Compatibility

Duplast CI can be used with Portland cements compliant with ASTM, AASHTO or CRD specifications.

Storage and Shelf Life

Duplast CI should be stored above 5°C. If frozen, thaw out and agitate thoroughly to return to normal state before use. Shelf life when stored in dry warehouse conditions between 10°C - 27°C is two years minimum.

Duplast WPR

  • Appearance Brown liquid
  • Spec. Gravity 1.150 - 1.170 @250C
  • Chlorine Content Nil to IS: 456
  • Air entrainment Typically less than 1.5%. Additional air is entrained at normal dosages
  • Alkali content Typically less than 5.0g Na2O equivalent / liter of admixture
Duplast WPR is a chloride free water reducing admixture, is is based on selected sugarreduced lignosulphonates.

Dosage

The optimum dosage of Duplast WPR to meet specific requirements should always be determined by trials using the materials and conditions that will be experienced in use.

Storage

Duplast WPR has a minimum shelf life of 12 months provided the temperature is kept within the range of 20º C to 40º C.

Surface Preparation

uplast WPR does not fall into the hazard classifications. However, it should not be swallowed or allowed to come into contact with the skin and eyes.

Suitable protective gloves and goggles should be worn. Splashes on the skin should be removed with water. In case of contact with the eyes, it should be rinsed immediately with plenty of water and medical advice sought immediately. If swallowed medical attention sought immediately - Vomiting should not be induced.

Duplast AIREX is designed to produce air entrainment in concrete mixes. It is used whenever compacted, durable concrete with resistance to frost action and effects of deicing salt is required. It improves workability & reduces tendency of bleeding. It also reduces density of light weight blocks, without impairing strength. It gives increased durability to dense concrete blocks & because of entrained air; a reduction in material cost is achieved.

Uses

Mass concreting works of dams, marine environment and concrete subjected to ground water salt.

Duplast AIREX is used to produce workable and durable concrete for roads, runways, taxiways, power stations and underground water tanks.

Advantage and Benefits

Controllable rate of addition

Air entrainment without loss in strength

Improves cohesion and workability

Enables water reduction

Gives good freeze-thaw resistance

Chloride free

Reduces permeability

Reduces segregation and bleeding

Method of Use

Duplast AIREX should be added preferably through a calibrated dispending unit and added to the mix with the gauging water to ensure correct mixing.

Dosage

The dosage rate of 100ml – 250ml of Duplast AIREX per 50kg of cement bag will normally produce an entrainment of 4%-5%.

The dosage rate of Duplast AIREX will vary depending upon the particular materials and mix design being used.

Safety precautions

As with all chemical products, care should be taken during use and storage to avoid contact with eyes, mouth, skin and foodstuffs (which can also be tainted with vapour until product is fully cured or dried).

  • Do not reuse containers for storage of consumable item.
  • Duplast AIREX is a non-toxic and inflammable. When in contact with the skin, it should be washed with cold water.
  • If accidentally ingested, seek immediate medical attention.
  • Treat splashes to eyes and skin immediately.
  • Keep away from children and animals.
  • Reseal containers after use.

Du Pump Concrete Admixtures

  • Packaging DUPUMP is supplied in 210gms pouch in boxes containing 100 pouches.

Uses

  • A knowledgeable operator and DUPUMP is a great combination. Operators dislike pump blockages as much you do. Once they understand how well Dupump works, they will insist on using it every time. Thus, the number of pump blockages will be minimized. The need for fewer expensive elbows and pipe is like money in the bank.
  • Pump the tough jobs. DUPUMP used as a pump aid lets you do jobs that others have failed on. When a construction manager sees that you can pump a job that others cannot, you gain a customer. Faster priming means less time on job and more jobs, i.e., more revenue per day.

Advantage and Benefits

  • Increases pump capacity – reduces pressure in concrete pump and pipes. Clean and easy preparation of the primer.
  • In 5 minutes the equivalent primer is ready, as opposed to lugging sacks of sand and cement.
  • Ready – to – use in pre – weighed pouches of 210gms, which corresponds to the equivalent contents of 50-150 kg of cement. Superior concrete pump capacity.
  • Minimizes wear and abrasion of concrete delivery pipes. Outstanding time saving produces enhanced transport efficiency. The risk of “stop” and “block” is reduced to virtually nil.

Storage Life : It is better than using the old methods-

  • DUPUMP is cheaper. DUPUMP is a time saver.
  • DUPUMP is easy to mix and use, therefore operators will love to use it. DUPUMP is easy to store on the pump and transit mixer.
  • DUPUMP cuts maintenance costs.
  • DUPUMP slurry can be directly added to the prime ports of pumps or can be placed directly in hoppers.
