1 Products availableMetered application of fluids is increasingly becoming part of automated manufacturing processes. As a result, no dosing unit concept would be complete without the integration of all the necessary procedures for the pre and after treatment of components, quality assurance measures and conveying and handling technology. As a dosing technology producer and designer of customized solutions for automated gluing, sealing and potting, DOPAG is a place that offers the full package from a single source. Only a system that is precisely tailored to the application requirements ensures a smooth production and contributes to overall business success.
Coredis is used for the processing of special low density 1K epoxies filled with micro hollow spheres. The unique challenge in this case is that we are dealing with a reactive medium which remains in the material contacting systems after processing and could be subjected to a curing reaction. In order to prevent this, coredis features a specially developed structure. The material is supplied directly from the delivery container and the metering is carried out by means of a gear pump mounted on a heated follower plate. The material is guided through the connected heater hose to the dispending nozzle which continuously fills the core filler into the honeycombs.
In case of production interruptions, all material contacting parts including the container can be dismounted in a few minutes and stored in a cold storage. Thus, no cleaning is required. If the production is restarted, the application can be resumed due to the heated components. This unique structure allows for the first time the continuous as well as precise metering of 1K core fillers and has the advantage that, after a simple expansion of the system, various materials can be processed on the same system.
Mixing of challenging media with dissimilar viscosities
Mixers of this type are used if difficult media with dissimilar viscosities and with a relatively long pot life have to be mixed.
Are usually used within a mixing ratio of 100:100 to 100:10.
Pneumatic or electric motors are used to rotate the mixer elements.
Optional static-dynamic mixing systems can be assembled with mixer element monitoring.
DOPAG is the system provider for gasketing, bonding, sealing, potting, and automating. The dynamicLine is based on the newly developed dynamic mixing head with its innovative valve technology. With this technology, DOPAG has raised the bar and set a new benchmark regarding ease of use, accuracy, andreliability for dynamic mixing.
The high-performance mixing head is based on 40 years of experience with two-component low-pressure metering and impresses with its unique valve technology with the booster. Functions such as the rinsing of the mixing system with water (alternatively cleaning agent), the controlled opening and closing of the mixing system, and the extremely precise metering performance set new standards on the market.
DOPAG offers a manufacturing cell in three different sizes for automated metering and mixing. Thanks to the modular design the cell can be individually tailored to a variety of customer applications.
DOPAG offers a complete inline solution for fully automated implementation of several work steps in sequence. For example, the plasma pre-treatment and adhesive bonding and sealing steps, as well as the joining processes, can be performed in three interconnected cells.
DOPAG material pressure regulators are used to reduce the feed pressure down to the required operating pressure. As well as accurately regulating material pressure, these valves will also compensate for pulsations that occur as a result of the reciprocating action of piston pumps. Pulsations cause a brief decrease in pressure that could lead to a slight reduction in the flow of material. These regulators can be used on materials with viscosities from 5, 000 to 500, 000 mPa s. DOPAG material pressure regulators are manufactured with two different types of construction:
MPR with piston
MPR with membrane
Volumetric flow meters monitor the volume flow of liquids based on the gear principle. The measuring unit is constructed for highest accuracy with precisely fitted gears. The rotation of the measuring unit is precisely detected by a contactless signal sensor system and then converted into digital signals.
In the sections in which they are completely enclosed by the housing walls, the tooth gaps of the measuring unit gears form measuring unit chambers which digitalize the flow depending on their chamber volume.
The Micro-Flow Sensor is a flow detecting device, used within a semi or fully automated metering process, to detect whether a material has been dispensed. The Micro-Flow Sensor does not control the metering volume.
It is used particularly when handling unfilled grease with NLGI class 1 to 3, high viscosity oils or silicone-oils. The Micro-Flow Sensor can be adapted to the DOPAG Micro and Mini metering valves as well as to the 419 range of metering valves.
Modis is a highly dynamic, speed-proportional metering system for controlling the flow rate of single component adhesive applications in the automotive industry, as well as in the automotive supply industry. Modis allows operators the opportunity to cover a wide range of flow rates with just four different construction sizes.
Vectodis is used to handle single component materials. Just a suitable material supply and metering computer are required. The modular construction ofvectodis enables a wide range of use. This product line is especially recommended if material needs to be applied in high precision and repeatable way. The material can be processed by either shot dispensing or continuous flow.
The Cartridge Chamber Metering Valve is based on a special principle. The metering chamber is an exchangeable cartridge contained within an aluminum valve body. There are cartridges available with a defined volume of 0, 25, 1, 00 and 10, 00 cm. The volumetric output is infinitely adjustable between its limits. A speed of metering depends on the material viscosity and the material pressure. Adjusting the metering volume can be achieved easily by simply changing the metering cartridge.
Metering volume: 0.025 - 10 cm
Cartridge:0.25 / 1.0 / 10 cm
Needle metering valves are used for the processing of low to high viscosity media. The valve consists of two separate parts. This means that it is not possible for any leaking material to enter the actuating air cylinder, which could cause a malfunction. The needle is sealed by means of an adjustable packing set (Metering volume: 0.001 - 3.0 cm3).
