The 1PoE +1Fx Media Converter provides power and data from a single point, using Power over Ethernet (PoE) over a single Cat-6 cable. Power your remote locations over Ethernet and take advantage of all the benefits of fiber including longer distances, larger bandwidth. The Eight RJ45 network ports + one fiber port can be used for any PoE link and eight of these ports can supply industry-standard IEEE 802.3af power.
Advanced auto-sensing algorithm gives power only to IEEE802.3af end devices, so no need to worry about damaging proprietary PoE or non-PoE equipment. In addition, it discontinues the power when PoE devices are disconnected. Easy and reliable, the 1 PoE+ 1Fx Media Converter automatically determines PoE requirements, speed, duplex, and cable type using Auto Uplink.
FEATURES
IEEE 802.3af power on up to 1 ports |
Supply power to wireless access points and surveillance cameras over Cat-6 cabling |
Supports PoE power up to 15.4W / 25.5W for each PoE port |
Supports PoE IEEE 802.3af compliant PDs |
Supports IEEE 802.3x flow control for Full-duplex Mode and backpressure for Half-duplex Mode |
LED indicators for monitoring power, link, activity and speed |
External power adapter supply |
The 2 channel Telephone to Fiber Converter is a high performance fully digital fiber optic interface for links between a PABX and any touchtone telephone. It is designed for applications such as PABX/Line extension between buildings or to a remote location (e.g. from a central control room to a security guard post) where only one or a few telephones are required. A typical application example could be the emergency telephone systems of highways or other ITS (Intelligent Transportation System) applications. The Telephone to Fiber Converter can also be used to connect any two touchtone telephones to form a dedicated intercom system.
The Telephone to Fiber Converter is available with common optical fibers operating at wavelengths of 850nm, 1300nm or 1550nm. Both multimode and single mode versions are available to suit different application requirements. The longest transmission distance supported by the Telephone to Fiber Converter is 2 km on multimode fiber or 20 km over single mode fiber. For longer distances or special transmission requirements, please consult OSD.
