Among all other steel pipes, round steel pipes are used more frequently. In the construction industry, these round steel pipes are used most widely. For building sewages and water pipes, these steel round pipes are used. According to the different applications, the round steel pipes have different diameters. Whenever, any customization is needed, these pipes can be customized very easily.

These steel pipes are available in different thickness, different diameter length, and in different quality. Generally, these rounded steel pipes have high corrosion resistance capacity, high deformability, high toughness and higher strength.
While measuring the diameter of a round steel pipe, the outside as well as the inside diameters should be measure separately. The difference between these two values, is the length of the diameter of the round steel pipe. The thickness of the wall of this type of pipes, determines the pipe size.

In a large number of industries, square steel pipes are used. The production of this kind of pipes is increasing day by day. With compare to round steel pipes, square steel pipes are little more efficient. The reason is that the square column is more efficient than the solid circular column.
The alloy used for manufacturing square steel tubes is carbon steel. These steel tubes are used in structural projects, shelves, racks, trailers and in ornamental purpose. The framework made by square steel tubes, is used for providing support to the roof. This framework is also used as roof top ventilation baffles.

In a traditional space frame, for the bar members, circular hollow section members are used. At the joint section, by welding along a curve surface, the bar members are joined. Therefore, this process takes very long time and seems to be difficult. To make the problem easier, square steel pipes are used. The square steel pipes are used in a special configuration. Both the perpendicular sides of two square steel pipes are respectively aligned in perpendicular and parallel to the plane of the frame bodies. In this case, by butt-welding, the cross points of the bar members are joined along a short weld line.

Rectangular steel pipes and tubes are used in different industrial applications. These are used for accomplishing different purposes. The common areas, where these rectangular pipes and tubes are used are: supermarket racks, container fabrication, auto fabrication, motor cycles, doors and windows, industrial plant structure, bicycles, furnitures etc. There are several parameters for defining the rectangular pipes and tubes.

These parameters are length, width, height, welding gap, radius, diameter etc. According to the nature of the requirements, the size of the rectangular steel pipes and tubes can be altered.
