CUMI supplies ceramic Grinding Media and Ball Mill Liners to the Ceramic Tile industry. Grinding media is used for particle size reduction which takes place when the material being ground is sandwiched between the media. Ball Mill Liners are supplied to protect the ball mill from wear and provide longer usable life.

CUMITUFF provides zero contamination which leads to better quality mill output.

The Grinding media sizes supplied by CUMI are dia 6, 8, 12, 19, 25, 30, 40, 45, 50 and 60mm.

Ceramic Fiber Textiles

Ceramic Fiber textiles is alumina-silicate based refractory fiber, white and odorless. With a reinforcement carrier (usually high temperature fiberglass), the fiber is made into industrial textile products such as Cloth, Tape, Twisted Rope, Square and Round Braid, Yarn, etc.

Ceramic fiber Textiles resists temperature as high as 2300 F. This material is lightweight and has very low thermal conductivity. Ceramic fiber textiles provides excellent insulation at high temperature. Ceramic Fiber Textiles also resists corrosive chemicals, commonly used acid and alkali. The fiber is strong and abrasive. Ceramic Fiber Textiles can be used in extreme environments. Ceramic Fiber Textiles is a good substitute for asbestos products in many insulation and sealing applications.

Ceramic Fiber Ropes

Ceramic fibre ropes & textiles are woven or brained from yarn consisting of refactory ceramic fibre with approximately 20% organic carrier fibre. Insert materials are incorporated into the yarn to increase fibric tensile strength. Alloy wire insert (Grade MR ) are available for obtaining maximum strength at elevated temperature. Glass filament insert (Grade Gr ) are used in applications where electrical resistance is required.

Ceramic fibre textiles may be used upto 1250 Deg. C, however when tensile strength is important the temparature limits of the insert material should be considered.

Veneering Modules
