Calcite

We are offering calcite.Calcite is a calcium carbonate mineral (minerals containing co3) that is usually white. It is one of the most important minerals in the world and is extremely common. It can be found in the three main types of rocks (sedimentary, metamorphic and igneous rocks) and, in the form of marble or limestone, makes up much of the earths crust. Calcite is one of the main minerals in limestone, marble and shells of marine species. Interestingly, calcite has more practical uses than most other minerals in the world. It has the same chemical formula as other types of calcium carbonate, such as limestone, marble and chalk: caco3. It comes in bright white color and it has nodular particle size with strong crystal structure. we offer calcite lumps, grains, powder and coated calcite powder in varied grades to suit the clients requirements. the common features are as follows:- rapid and complete dispersionvery low abrassion at high loadingvery low moisture contentgood compatibility with polymers and other additivesbetter impact strength of polymer compound as compared to uncoated material applications:- as a formation bridging and filter-cake sealing agent in drilling fluids.as a weighting material to increase the density of drilling fluids, to control downhole pressures.as an extender in paints, especially in matte emulsion paints.as a filler in plastics (example - 15 to 20% loading of chalk in pvc drain pipe) as well as thermosetting resins.in a wide range of trade and diy adhesives, sealants, and decorating fillers.in setting stained glass windows, along with putty.as a resist to prevent glass from sticking to kiln shelves when firing glazes and paints at high temperature.as a common ingredient for many glazes, in ceramicsglazing applications.in the production of glossy paper, replacing kaolin.for the purpose of purifying iron & steel materials, in a blast furnace, from iron ore.as a building material in its own right (like marble) or limestone aggregate for the purpose of road-building and construction.for making mortar, which is used in bonding bricks, concrete blocks, stones and tiles.as a filler material for latex gloves, as precipitated calcium carbonate (pre-dispersed in slurry form).as a major component of blackboard chalk.as an inert filler for tablets and other pharmaceuticals.as a ph corrector in swimming pools, for maintaining alkalinity "buffer" to offset the acidic properties of the disinfectant agent.in the production of toothpaste.environmental uses.

  • Brand Name Dev International
  • Making Bricks Mixing with cement
We are offering fly ash.Fly ash is a super fine volcanic ash, grey coloured and amorphous glass powder generated from the gases of burning coal during the production of electricity. These micron-sized earth elements consist primarily of silica, alumina and iron. Almost being spherical in shape, they flow and blend freely in mixtures. That capability is one of the properties making fly ash a desirable admixture for concrete. . They are naturally more thermally insulating than blocks made with other aggregates. As no heat is required, fly ash brick is made by mixing soil, plaster of paris, fly ash and water, it reduces air pollution. The new cement became known as pozzolanic cement and who was to known that this technology was to have such far-reaching effects on the building and construction industry of today. Mineral admixture in concrete has two designations for fly ash used in concrete - class f and class c. Class f fly ash is normally produced from burning anthracite or bituminous coal that meets the applicable requirements. This class of fly ash has pozzolanic properties and will have a minimum silica dioxide plus aluminum oxide plus iron oxide of 70%. Class c fly ash is normally produced from sub bituminous coal that meets the applicable requirements. This class of fly ash, in addition to having pozzolanic properties, also has some cementitious properties and will have a minimum silica dioxide plus aluminum oxide plus iron oxide content of 50%.

We offer natural fullers earth. It is used as a bleaching agent, as an adsorbent in decolorizing and used for refining oils and fats. Fuller's earth is a mineral substance characterized by the property of absorbing basic colors and removing them from oils. In general bleaching earth is a decolorizing agent which will change the tint of any coloured oil to a lighter shade by changing the basic colour units in oil, without altering the chemical properties of the oil. Bleaching earths are special clays activated by physical or chemical processes. Natural clays are found in special strata and are subjected to various processes such as desegregation in water, treatment by sulphuric acid solutions, filtration, baking, grinding, etc. The efficiency of bleaching earth depends on selecting the right grade and proper blends of the basic raw material bentonite. The major uses of fuller's earth are for decolorizing petroleum oils, edible oil, vegetable oil, beer, the recycling of used lubricating (engine) oil, fats, greases, paraffin waxes and solvents. It is also used in cosmetics, face pack, and for making masks. Main usage of fullers earth: since over a century and till date the major use of fuller's earth is for decolorizing animal, vegetable and petroleum oils, fats, greases, waxes and solvents. there are even accounts of fuller's earth being used to decolorize beer. granular fuller's earth is used to improve uv spectrometer readings and pnc values of petroleum base oil distillates. cat litter. cosmetic creams and face packs. pharmaceuticals. agricultural pesticide carriers. manufacture of various catalysts used in the petroleum and chemical industries

Barite

We are offering barite. The term barytes is derived from the greek baros meaning heavy. Barite is found in the southern parts of india. barytes (or barite) is a naturally occurring mineral form of barium sulphate. It is extracted by both surface and underground mining. Its main properties are its high specific gravity 4.2 4.5, very low solubility; it is non-toxic, and also chemically and physically non-reactive, low abrasiveness and opaqueness to x-rays. it is available in lumps and powder form. applications:- oil well drilling barite is used as a weighing agent in oil well-drilling fluids to counteract certain pressures that result from well drilling operations. In this process, barite is crushed and mixed with water & other materials. It is then pumped into the drill hole. The weight of this mixture counteracts the force of the oil and gas when it is released from the ground. This allows the oil and gas rig operators to prevent the explosive release of the oil and gas from the ground. paper-making industry in the paper industry, high-refined barites powder can be used as the filling of white paperboard and coat paper, improve the whiteness and percentage of coverage. cosmetics when used in cosmetic industry, the properties of barite powder such as high whiteness, gentle and harmless to skin allow it to replace titanium dioxide. white pigments barite is a key player in preparing white pigment (lithopone) which is a mixture of barium sulphate and zinc sulphide. This pigment is used in making white paint that is used to give a chic appearance to wooden artifacts. paints, enamel and coatings in dope and painting, it can be used as a filler and can take the place of some expensive material such as basofor, crypton, titanium dioxide, activity, monox etc. Control the viscosity of the paint compatibly to make the products with bright color, good stability. adhesives & sealants barite is dense, inert, sound & radiation-absorbing fillers for special sealants and adhesives. It is included where a higher weight is wanted in the adhesive. rubber in rubber industry, the products less than 600 mesh is used as the filling of rubber products to save cost. It improves the intensity, acid, alkali and water proof. The grinded barite powder is important additive to improve its hardness, wear resistance and anti-aging properties. It makes better the reinforcing action of caoutchouc and synthetic rubber too. plastic industry in plastic industry, it is used as the filling of plastic abs (acrylonitrile - butadiene - styrene) to make the products with bright color. It boosts the intensity, stiffness and abrasive resistance of the plastic. pharmaceutical industry in medicine, it can be used as barium meal material for the intestines and stomach reflection, and also the filling for plaster. other uses:- barite is also mixed with cement to make special radioactive storage containers to store radioactive materials.barite serves effectively when it comes to driving away rats from your home, as it is an important ingredient in rat poison.it is also used in commercial applications like sugar refining.barite has the unique ability to strongly absorb x-rays and gamma rays. Consequently, it is used in medical science for special x-ray tests on the intestines and colon.another application after its conversion to barium carbonate is in the manufacturing of ceramic glazes and lead glasses for computer monitors and television tubes to minimize radiation effects.a more recent application of barite is in the production of brake pads and clutches for cars and trucks.

Bentonite

We are offering bentonite.Bentonite deposits are normally exploited by quarrying. Extracted bentonite is distinctly solid, with the moisture content of approximately 30%. The material is initially crushed and, if necessary, activated with the addition of soda ash (na2co3). Bentonite is dried (air andor forced drying) to reach a moisture content of approximately 15%. According to the final application, bentonite is either sieved (granular form) or milled (into powder and super fine powder form) or treated with acids to produce acid-activated bentonite (bleaching earths), or treated with organics to produce organoclays. The main constituent, which is the determinant factor in the clay's properties, is the clay mineral montmorillonite. bentonite is the active protective layer of geosynthetic clay liners. Bentonite has multi-properties including swelling, hydration, water absorption, viscosity, thixotropy, which makes it a multi-application product for diverse industries. bentonite is available in various grades for its diverse applications:- foundry grade bentonite powder almost all iron, steel & malleable iron casting foundries are using bentonite for cost efficient results. Bentonite is utilized in foundry to bind the sand grains into desired shapes. Bentonite helps in retaining the mechanical shape of the mould by making the particles of sands adhere to it and also making the surface impermeable. Strength and fusion point are the two important properties desired for selecting bentonite. Primary use is in the production of non-ferrous castings. Mixing ratio depends on the sand fineness and its quality, impurities, clay particles and fineness of sand will affect the green strength properties. oil well drilling (drilling api & ocma grade) bentonite clay is used in vertical drilling fluids to increase viscosity and filtration control. This mineral is also ideal in drilling fluids because it expands when exposed to water. This expansion helps down hole formations to be sealed from invading drilling fluids. The drilling bentonite extracts the drill cuttings from around the drill bit, which are then floated to the surface. Bentonite also serves to cool and lubricate the drill bit as well as seals the drill hole against seepage and to prevent wall cave-ins. It is mainly use in fresh pure water rotary drilling conditions as water quality will affect bentonite performance. The quantity of bentonite used is variable depending upon the depth of the hole to be drilled. Generally one tonne of bentonite is used to prepare about 100 barrels of mud. civil engineering and pilling grade. bentonite in civil engineering applications is traditionally used as a thixotropic, support and lubricant agent in diaphragm walls and foundations, in tunneling, in horizontal directional drilling (hdd) and pipe jacking. Due to its viscosity and plasticity, is also used in portland cement and mortars. Pilogel grade is widely accepted by civil construction industries for stabilization of slopes during excavation in unstable grounds as well as land fill applications. iron ore palletizing grade bentonite our iop grade bentonite is extraordinary solution for iron ore pellet binding and it can also withstand higher temperature since it contains more percentages of metal. The grade is also having higher natural percentage of iron which is ideal in isolating ore pellets with the maximum percentages of iron. The iron ore pelletization plant is able to maintain active clay levels with reduced additions of bentonite. Since iop grade bentonite is having high mont values, it offers more superior thermal durability. activated bleaching earthfullers earth it is used as a bleaching agent, as an adsorbent in decolorizing and used for refining oils and fats. It is also used in cosmetics, face pack, and for making masks. organophilic clay organoclays are manufactured by modifying bentonite with quaternary amines. We supply organoclay for various below mentioned usages:- paints, coatings & cosmetics:- due to its thixotropic properties, bentonite and organo clays function as a thickening andor suspension agent in varnishes, and in water and solvent-based paints, cosmetics (toothpaste, antiperspirant cosmetic make-up, aerosols, body lotion, face packs, creams, shampoos hair grooming aids)products. Its adsorption properties are appreciated for the finishing of indigo dying cloth, and in dyes (lacquers for paints & wallpapers). epoxies & adhesives:- it is also used for epoxy and adhesives manufacturing due to its characteristics viscosity control, particle supension, gel stability no effects on cure, assists in emulsion, stabilization of water oil emulsionsrubber & tyres:- organocclay has found itself as an indispensable additive for quality tyre manufacturers. A very nominal addition of organoclay, eliminates the requirement of continuous stirring to prevent settling of solids, homogenizes the mixture to give a smooth spray able emulsion for effective mould release to the tyre. Besides ease of application, the addition of the clay minimizes tyre rejections and ensures a non - chatting, non - sticking smooth surface to the tyre innards. water treatment:- organoclay is a modified clay mineral designed for use as a filter media in process and wastewater treatment. When used alone, organoclay removes oil at 700% the rate of activated carbon. When used as a pre-treatment for activated carbon in applications involving oil and grease removal, organoclay removes the oil and grease effectively, allowing the activated carbon to remove the soluble organic compounds more efficiently. use as grouting material bentonite has great water binding ability and consequently very law permeability to water. It has been found, that the permeability of the soil is reduced considerably when substituted by sodium bentonite. Hence, this material is often employed in construction engineering to make a porous medium water-tight. It can be used alone or with some other grouting material. pigments & inks it acts as a pigments and colours developer for carbonless copying paper and adsorption of impurities in white water system in paper manufacturing plants. In the process of printing, some inks do not dry rapidly and cause blotting. A common cure for this problem is starch, held in suspension by a thin hectorite or white bentonite suspension. paper industry bentonite is crucial to paper making, where it is used in pitch control (i.e. Absorption of wood resins that tend to obstruct the machines), to improve the efficiency of the conversion of pulp into paper, and to improve the quality of the paper. Bentonite also offers useful de-inking properties for paper recycling. In addition, acid activated bentonite is used as the active component in the manufacture of carbonless copy paper. cat litter grade bentonite is an ideal for natural cat litter. The characteristics of the materials are such that they have high absorption, instant & strong clumping, natural odor control, safe, hygienic, low dust & no waste materials. electrical earthting bentonite is widely accepted for the purpose of improving ground conductance in electrical earthing. pharmaceuticals bentonite is used as filler in pharmaceuticals and due to its absorptionadsorption functions, allows paste formation. Such applications include industrial protective creams, calamine lotion, wet compresses, and anti-irritants for eczema. In medicine, bentonite is used as an antidote in heavy metal poisoning. Personal care products such as mud packs, sunburn paint, baby and face powders, and face creams may all contain bentonite. detergents laundry detergents and liquid hand cleanserssoaps rely on the inclusion of bentonite, in order to remove the impurities in solvents and to soften the fabrics. other usages:- water impedance:- as a barrier for wine clarification, pond sealing, wine and juice clarifying agent. cements, ceramics & plasters:- as a plasticizing agent. insecticides:- as a carrier. insulation:- as a binder. porcelain:- as a suspending agent. sewer pipes:- as a lubricant and sealant. agriculture.

It is also used in cosmetics, face pack, and for making masks. organophilic clay organoclays are manufactured by modifying bentonite with quaternary amines.
