The practice of oxy-assisted melting in EAF has been established for a very long time. Similar practice is adopted in induction furnaces also for purging of gases like Argon, Nitrogen. Normally steel tubes are used for purging of desired gases. Ceramic coating helps reduce this consumption by a great extent resulting in following advantages:

Ferro alloys are used in the process of steel making for addition of alloy content in the steel. We produce briquettes from undersize ferro alloys. Undersize ferro alloys cannot be used in the steel making process, we briquette this under size ferro alloys into uniform shape, size and dense briquettes. Apart from our standard sizes, we can make specific sizes as per customer requirements. The briquettes manufactured by us are sintered briquettes and not chemically bonded, thus we are able to deliver density and strength as much as the prime ferro alloys lumps. The yield of alloy from our product is generally higher as compared to prime ferro alloys lumps as our each briquette is of uniform shape, size and weight.
