INTRODUCTION
Portable Anaesthesia Apparatus is the outcome of painstaking R & D by our team of dedicated engineers to meet the ever increasing demands of the practising Anaesthesiologist & Small Nursing Homes, where stress has been given to the safety, compactness, easy operation, accessibility and visibility of all components.
FEATURES
A. SAFETY
This Apparatus features an exclusive NITROUS OXIDE LOCK with Audio-Visual Alarm System. The Rotameter ensures protection against singular flow of Nitrous Oxide until a minimum flow of 1 Litre Oxygen is released. Simultaneously, a built-in Audio-Visual Alarm will be activated if the Oxygen flow (even by error) is not released through the Rotameter.
B. CONTROL KNOBS
Colour coded and labelled for easier identification of respective gases. The Control knobs have a characteristic profile to get a tactile feeling upon touch by the Anaesthesiologist. As desirable, Oxygen Control knob is placed before Nitrous Oxide Control knob.
C. ROTAMETER PROTECTION
Nitrous Oxide and Oxygen Rotameter Tubes are protected by a Transparent Shield which can be easily removed for cleaning or servicing.
D. PRECAUTIONARY MEASURE
To eliminate the risk of wrong connection, inlet connections of Nitrous Oxide and Oxygen are of non-interchangeable type. THE APPARATUS The entire Anaesthesia Apparatus is supplied in an exclusive carrying case with the following accessories:

INTEFRATED SAFETY FEATURE:
Oxygen Ratio controller (ORC) never allows delivery lof 100% Nitrous Oxide by ensuring delivery of atleast 25% Oxygen concentration to prevent Hypoxia.

Oxygen Ratio Controller (ORC):
In the ORC a slave valve pneumatically linked to two pressure balancing diaphragms of Oxygen & Nitrous Oxide guarantees a minimum of 25% Oxygen Concentration which can be raised anywhere in the range of 25% to 100% (5%.)
Oxygen Failure Protection Device:
(OFPD):
MEDISYS OFPD works as a true Fail-safe system allowing flow of Nitrous Oxide only in presence of Oxygen at Rotameter level since it locks the flow of Nitrous Oxide in the absence of flow of Oxygen through its Rotameter.
Basal Flow:
When MEDISYS OFPD is in operation as indicated by Audio-Visual Alarm, a separate Pneumatic Circuit is activated to deliver a minimum Oxygen Flow of 200 - 300 ml/min through its Rotameter.
Alarm:
Audio-Visual Alarm is activated if flow of Oxygen falls belowlLPM.
Pneumatic Circuitry:
Completely encased, detachable Pneumatic Circuitry for easy & prompt service check up.
Circle Absorber System:
Twin Canister Circle Absorber System is provided with swivelling facility. Canisters and Inspiratory Valve have quick -fit Taper Fitting with Rubber '0' Rings for Leak proof seal and easy maneuverability. Bag-Mount & APL Valve Assembly have swivel arms for easy accessibility.
Emergency Oxygen:
Emergency Oxygen Flush Button is provided at Table Top level on the front. It is recessed and guarded to avoid accidental pressing.
Flow Range : 35 LPM Calibrated at 60 PSI (5%)
Vaporizers:
The Vaporizers of Ether and Halothane are supplied as standard accessories. Provision for incorporating Vaporizer of user's choice in the Back Bar, Viz. Floutec, Penlon etc. (Optional)
Non-Return cum Pressure Relief Valve:
Blows off excess pressure in the Circuit. Release Pressure: 100 CM H20 (10%.)
