In response to the impending production phase out of Halon fire extinguishants , FM-200 (Heptafluoropropane) is a replacement for Halon 1301 in applications requiring a clean environmentally acceptable fire extinguishing agent, suitable for use in manned areas.

It is a colorless gas at standard conditions, exhibiting a boiling point of -16.4 Degree Centigrade. Through the use of properly designed equipment, FM-200 will mix well in a protected enclosure to provide a homogenous mixture in air. For fire suppression applications, FM-200 is super pressurized to achieve rapid discharge into the protected environment.

Cryo Express (CX) dry shippers are designed to safely transport a variety of materials at cryogenic temperatures. The unique absorbent material prevents a liquid spill if the unit is tipped over. Storage temperature inside the shipping cavity remains at approximately -190⁰C until the liquid nitrogen evaporates from the absorbent material.

If you think about it, most of the gases are toxic, flammable, corrosive, or often a combination of these. Other gases constitute a different hazard-such as asphyxiation, anesthesia or, simply, pressure. For some customer installations, a simple pressure regulator or control valve will not suffice, for example:

1. Where the gas, for physical considerations of space or location, must be stored in an area remote from point of use.
2. Where two or more cylinders are coupled together for high flow-rates.
3. Where a regular purge cycle is required between gas uses or at cylinder change-over.
4. Where safety considerations with a toxic or flammable gas require that equipment and/or pipelines containing that gas should be totally isolated from the working environment.
5. Where gas flow, pressure or temperature requirements are such that a very sophisticated means of gas control is required, especially in bulk gas installations.
6. In this there is clearly a need for a specialist designed Gas Distribution System.

We are offering Gas Selector Box to our clients. Standard system consists of a panel incorporating gas controls and purification traps for four gases in a unit, namely, Nitrogen, Helium, Hydrogen and Zero Air. Frequent changeover of carrier gas from Helium to Nitrogen is required for certain Gas Chromatographic applications. Hence, Gas Selector Box is used for the selection between two gases of different types. This uses a special Gas Sampling Valve which takes care of leakage problems especially faced while using Helium.

Two types of gas selector box are available one with selector valve, pressure gauge & toggle valve, another with only two toggle valve.
