Emitter Flow Rate Variation Tester

The Deepak Emitter Flow Rate Variation Tester is designed to determine the mechanical and functional requirements of irrigation emitters, and the data to be supplied by the manufacturer to permit correct installation and operation in the field. The apparatus confirms to IS-13487 :1992 standard.

This test applies to emitters (with or without pressure regulation) intended for irrigation. This test does not apply to emitters which are an integral part of the pipe (during manufacturing as well as micro tubing).

Deepak friction tester is primarily designed to determine the co-efficient of friction of plastic films, sheets, laminates, pipes and paper etc. The equipment provides measurement of static and kinetic co-efficient of friction. The apparatus conforms to BS 2782 and ASTM D 1894 and other equivalent standards.

Measurement of frictional properties may be made on a film or sheeting specimen when sliding over itself or over another substance. The co-efficient of friction are related to the slip properties of plastic films that are of wide interest in packaging application. Falling Dart Impact

Deepak Free Falling Dart Impact Tester is used for PVC pipes, PVC ducting pipes & HDPE pipe as per IS, DIN, ASTM, BS, DOT specifications.

The impact properties of the polymeric materials are directly related to the overall toughness is defined as the ability of the polymer to absorb applied energy. The area under the stress-strain curve is directly proportional to the toughness of a material. Impact strength is a measurement of toughness. The higher the impact strength of a material the higher the toughness and vice-versa. Impact resistance is the ability of a material to resist breaking under a shock loading or the ability to resist the fracture under stress applied at high speed.

The pipe shall be placed on 'v' block in a such way that one of the marked lines is upper most. The stricker shall be allowed to fall manually/chain drive motorized system.

Specimens:200 10 mm long pipe shall be cut from the complete section. Each specimen shall be cut clean & gauge to the axis of the pipe.
