Punch type tube cut off system is the latest in the tube cutting technology and is now being widely used in US, Canadian and European markets. The technology is much faster and gives a burr-free cutting.Tube is held in a jaw bottom die and the cut off knife moves up and down at high speed cutting the tube with an impact. Recommended tolerance on thickness of tube cut off knives is +- 0.02 mmFlatness, Hardness, Wear resistance, toughness, edge retention, and impact resistance are the parameters of prime importance for tube cut off knives.Dee Tee manufactures Tube cut off knives in various shapes and sizes to meet the needs of the US, Canadian, UK, German and other markets.The preferred material being High Speed Steel, when given correct heat treatment, gives hardness within +- 1 HRC , ensuring exact sharpness, strength and wear resistance.TIN coated knives have much better life. Ion bond Tin coating of 23 micron gives good hardness, low coefficient of friction, and corrosion resistance, which increases tool life by 23 times.

I. Shafts are the machine members, mostly cylindrical in cross-section, which support the revolving parts of a machine, such as pulley, gear, fly-wheel, etc. Shaft not only supports a revolving part but also transmits torque. As a result, the shaft is subjected to bending as well as torsional stresses.II. In a good quality shaft the following properties are desired:1. Sufficient Strength.2. Low sensitivity to stress concentration.3. Ability to withstand head and case hardening treatment.4. Good machinability.5. High degree of toughness and wear resistance.III. After hardening, shafts are accurately ground and sometimes chrome plated as per requirement. Excellent geometrical accuracy and surface quality guarantee optimum running characteristics.IV. DeeTee manufactures shafts for Tube Mill, Section Mills, Special Purpose Textile Machine, Packaging Machinery, Printing Machine, Gear Boxes and various applications.V. The most common raw material for shaft is EN-24, EN-19 & sometimes En-31. These shafts are induction hardened to keep the skin hard & the core remains soft to absorb bending & torsion loads.

Standard for slitting strips above 1mm thickness and Extra precision grade for foils up to .2mm thickness.DeeTee can manufacture Slitting Line tooling up to 600mm diameter.

DeeTee rolls out world class forged rolls- Sendzimir mill rolls cluster mill rolls, 6Hi, 4Hi and 2Hi mill rolls, skin-pass rolls etc.The rolls are prone to very tough working conditions and have to be perfect in terms of wear resistance, toughness and hardness. Right from the raw-material inspection, to heat treatment , to grinding and final dispatch, all rolls undergo very stringent quality checks.The raw-material is generally imported from renowned sources from worldwide and is checked for macro structure analysis, micro structure analysis, ultrasonic soundness and heat-treatment response. Proper heat-treatment cycles ensure hardness uniformity and proper depth of hardness.

Being very small in diameter and longer in length, this is the most difficult item to make amongst all the rolls. DeeTee is the only company in India who is manufacturing the leveler rolls from the route of induction hardening. The minimum diameter leveler roll that DeeTee is manufacturing is of 25mm dia.Thru induction hardening, the skin of the roll gets hardened but the core remains soft. This allows the roll to absorb the bending force and retain its original shape automatically during application.

SHEAR KNIVES & BLADES are manufactured from best quality alloy steel. Information on specific application of blades is to be provided by the customer. Raw material is selected by DeeTee and heat treatment is imparted in accordance with the specifics application to maximize the blade performance. The shear blades are finally ground to close tolerance so that they conform to most rigorous international standards about parallelism and flatness.

Proper designing, selection of raw material, salt bath heat-treatment, and CNC finished profiles help to maximize the tonnage per regrind and yields quality end products. Roll designing is a very critical stage as it affects the cost of the rolls, life of the rolls, productivity of the mill, and the quality of the tube section. DeeTee uses COPRA ( German) software for the roll designing. The customer has to provide only the basic details of the mill and the input and output details.The tube mill rolls are made out of superior quality imported tool steels. Mostly AISI D2 1.2379 SKD11 AND AISI D3 1.2080 SKD1. The rod mill rolls are generally subjected to very high working temperatures and so are made from hot work tool steel grades like AISI H13 1.2344 SKD 61.Salt bath heat-treatment is considered to be the best for tool steels. The high-carbon-high-chromium grades are through hardening steels i.e. , when heat-treated they attain the hardness right from the outer surface till the inner core. Proper heat-treatment gives good toughness, wear resistance and uniform hardness to the rolls used in rod mill, tube mill, wire rod mills.The profile of the rolls are finished on CNC machines resulting in high surface accuracy and bright shiny finish of the rolls.

DeeTees friction saws are made from imported Chrome-Vanadium Steel and are wearshock resistant at high cutting speeds.Tooth profiles are obtained from Vollmer Machine of Germany. Friction Saws of OD 450, 510, 600, 710 and bore 35 mm are available off the shelf.Friction saw operation is based on strength of the frictional heat, which is generated between saw teeth and work piece when the saw runs at high speed. Cr-V steels retains its toughness and has ability to resist the stress of high operating speeds (60 - 90 meter per second). Saw should be mounted true and should not run out.

Sendzimir Mill Cluster Mill Rolls, 20 Hi Mill Rolls comprises of Work Rolls , 1st intermediate rolls, 2nd intermediate rolls, Z hi Mill rolls, and back-up bearings.work rolls are very small in diameter. work rolls are generally made out of D2 1.2379 or HSS material. The 1st and 2nd intermediate rolls are made from 1.2362 H11 D2 material. Since all these grades come under the category of tool steels , they are heat-treated in salt bath furnaces. Salt bath treatment gives excellent uniformity of hardness and is considered to be the best method for tool steel hardening.Sendzimir mills are generally used for rolling of stainless steel and non-ferrous grades worldwide. these mills operate at speeds ranging from 500 MPM to 1000MPM. At such high speeds, it is very necessary that the material of rolls is very clean and free from inclusions and defects and should be of very good quality.DeeTee can make all sizes of sendzimir 20 hi rolls from 20mm to 300mm diameter.
