Shaftless screw conveyor consists of a rotating screw inside a trough (tubolar or U-shaped), having an inlet hoooer and an outlet spout, being the rest of the machlne completely closed. The absence of the internal shaft allows to conveying sticky and entangling material, that is usually very difficult to handle and convey with a shafted screw.
