The frangipani tree originated from Native America and is specifically planted by people because it does not grow in the wild. In India the frangipani is known as the tree of life, even if the branch is cut off from the tree it still keeps on flowering. The plumeria is a small deciduous tree with fragrant flowers which have a sensual and alluring aroma. The flowers also known as lei flowers are tubular in shape and can vary from traditional white to yellow and in some cases even pink or red in color. A frangipani bloom can retain its freshness for a number of days without wilting if kept in water; the flowers are much prized for their lovely scent.

OilThe frangipani oil is dark brown in color and has a thick consistency and is a sort of a semi liquid which when provided gentle heat can yield a liquid like consistency. It blends well with other essential oils like bergamot, grapefruit and lemon.

UsesThe frangipani absolute oil has anti oxidant properties and is known to be used to correct the disorders of the skin. It is often used as an active ingredient in night creams, lotions and cleansers. Its therapeutic properties make it an excellent anti inflammatory product which can cure certain skin diseases.
Most aroma therapists use the frangipani absolute because of its highly relaxing and euphoric aroma. It has the ability to curb depression and uplift the mood along with giving deep relaxation to a tense body and mind.
Its sensual scent also makes it the number one choice of perfumers around the world and is widely used in the production of alluring fragrances.

Mimosa Absolute is a thick oil and may need to be gently heated for use. It has a delicate, sweet, woody floral scent and can be used as a fixitive in soaps and high class perfumes.
It blends well with Balsam, Benzoin, Citronella, Lavender, and Ylang Ylang and can be helpful in cases of anxiety, nervous tension, and stress disorders.

Tuberose Absolute is an exquisite, highly fragrant floral oil that is most often used for perfumery and natural fragrancing work.
