It complies with lec60870-5-103, lec6185o, modbus protocolfor high integration of protection & control.

Application :

cseprot differential relays are used as the main protection and control units for two winding power transformers, for both internal faults and faults in the influence area of current transformers.csepro-t units require no interposing transformers to adjust ct ratio and vector group correction as these adjustments are made by the relay itself in software. For these transformer winding configuration (vector group yd1, - dd10) & ct ratio are selectable though l-lml / usb communication. One has to select correct transformer winding configuration and ct ratio used in the protection scheme.Csepro-t modelcsepro-t is available in following models: cseprot140: for2-winding transformer protection (see table 23, 24)csepro-t170.

AMF Relay

EC-RXA-V2 is a AUTOMATIC/MANUAL Generator controller module including protection for (STAND BY) GENSElS. It uses single advanced micro controller chip for an easy and trouble free GENSET control. it is cost ef fective solution for AMF controlling system. If mains voltage in any phase fails (either voltage or frequency goes out of the selected range) EC-RXA-V2 initiates an automatic GEN-SET start cycle including load transfer by switching the contactors mounted in the panel. After the mains is restored the load will be automatically removed from GEN-SET and transferred to mains.GEN-SET will stop after a set cool down time. During all cycles, generator is fully monitored and protected against any fault. All the alarm occurring at abnormal GEN-SET conditions are detected and displayed on LCD display and if necessary GEN-SET is stopped and hooter gets activated.

Trip Circuit Supervision Relay

The Trip circuit of circuit breaker is normally wired through CB auxillary contacts and other interlocks (like spring charging full etc) and then connected to Trip solenoid coil of circuit breaker and control voltage source through fuse links.MRA- Pro-V2 continuously monitors these junction points. In the event of fault (like TC coil is open or short, TC coil supply is less than 40% or CB contact failure) in the trip circuit it immediately triggers the internal timer. After expiration of supervision time delay if the faulty condition persists then it is reported as fault by two output relay operation and CB failed LED indication. This scheme ensures that all trip circuit wiring (tripping route) from trip contact to the trip coil is supervised in either the breaker closed or open condition.

There are two modes of operation as under

a) Auto Mode: In this mode Trip circuit faulty status indication automatically gets reset once Trip circuit becomes healthy.

b) Manual Mode: In this mode Trip circuit faulty status indication will not be reset unless user reset it through a front RESET key through a single press.

To facilitate routine checkup there is a provision for TEST function inMRA- Pro-V2. User can enter into this mode by keeping the RESET key in pressed condition and then providing the auxiliary supply. To bring back to normal operation from this mode user has to switch off and then switch on the auxillary supply ofMRA- Pro-V2.

Benefits

  • Operation delay to avoid spurious signals for instance , on circuit breaker operations
  • Functional operation indication by 4 LEDs namely CB OK, CB Fail, Manual and edit
  • Auto/ Manual operation mode
  • Wide range auxillary supply.
FEATURES
  • Continuous Trip circuit supervision of both pre closing and post closing conditions in circuit breaker
  • Detection and alarm of trip circuit supply failure and circuit breaker tripping mechanism failure such as loss of voltage, trip circuit connection, contact degeneration of wires etc
  • Single-Phase DB monitoring
  • Flush mounting enclosure
  • 2 Output contacts

Numeric Motor Protection Relay

In mPRO-200the protection feature is based on mathematical model ofmotor thermal image. The motor thermal overload protectionfunction calculates the heat accumulated in the rotor andstator based on the effective heating current , integrated overa time. The relay appropriately takes in to accountcooling of the winding by gradually emptying the accumulatedcurrent bucket. The relay displays the status of thermalcondition of motor windings as a % of maximum permissibleThermal capacity. If inverse overload characteristic (lN/) is selected then only theeffect of thermal memory phenomenon is enabled. If current inany of the three phases exceeds over-current setting l> as wellas accumulated thermal capacity (Thermal MEM) is >=100%then mPRO will trip the motor. If thermal memory isaccumulated then Relay Contact Reset depends on RelayReset selection (AUTO/MANUAL) and Thermal Reset selection(Disable/Enable).

Mechanical equipments such as pumps orfans can be quicklydamaged if it jams, resulting in a locked rotor stall. The MProwill trip when the running current exceeds the set value (Stall)value after the Stalled Rotor Time (tStall). Set this value toOFF, if stall protection of driven equipment is not requiredsince the thermal overload protection will protect the motor. This feature is blocked during the inrush of motor starting.mPRO provides protection against over temperature bymonitoring the temperature in the motor winding. Highwinding temperature is caused by phase unbalance, phasefail, high torque starting, insufficient cooling etc. mPRO willtrip the motor in running condition after PTC trip time (tPtc)expires. once temperature monitored via external PTCthermistor exceeds the PTC Trip value (PtcTrp).

Benefits

  • The phase unbalance condition is checked only during runningcondition of the motor
  • In the event of phase reversal, the relay trips after set timetPhRev. It helps to protect a three phase motor whileinstallation
  • During motor start-up, a locked rotor is detected with the stateof increased phase current above the set value (LKR) even afterthe set start time (tLKR).

  • Monitors the flow of the current from which thefollowing operational conditions of the motor are gathered:-STOP, START &RUNNING
  • Allows user to enable fail safe operation for DO-1contacts.
  • When mPRO generates a trip signal, the DO-1 relay coil isde-energized
  • Short circuit protection is provided by tripping the relay whenthe motor operating current in any ofthe three phases exceedsthe value corresponding to Short circuit setting
  • During a phase loss, the motor winding current will increase by150% or more
