FEATURESBasically CTS are of different types:
BAR PRIMARY CURRENT TRANSFORMER (BPCT)For Currents of 100A and above the bus bars or cables are quite thick and it is easier to measure the currents without breaking the bus bars or cable by means of a Bar Primary current transformer which can be slipped over the bus bar or cable. These CTs are most commonly used as they are sturdy, compact and more economical.
WOUND PRIMARY CURRENT TRANSFORMER (WPCT) For currents below 100A, it is uneconomical to achieve the desired accuracy by employing Bar primary type CTs and the solution is Wound Primary C.T., where both primary and secondary are Wound over the core.
CLAMP ON CT'S NIPPEN clamp-on CT's enable quick and accurate current measurements on live circuits without disconnecting loads. Precision phase shift characteristics ensure accurate power or energy measurements conveniently. These are one of the accessories in our energy audit system.

SPECIFICATIONNIPPEN's Earth Resistance Testers are used for measuring earth electrode resistance, soil resistance, earth continuity, neutral and earth loop resistance, resistance of various components etc.
They are used in Railways, Defence, Utilities, Power Plants, Geological Surveys and other Industries.Direct reading type models SET/DET/TET provide direct readings of resistance on moving coil type meters, having a linear scale, 70mm long knife edge pointer and an external zero adjustment.
NIPPEN Power line Transducers give load independent and isolated DC outputs proportional to input parameters like current, voltage, frequency, power factor, active power, reactive power and dc isolation.
In an Elent CVT, the AC mains powers the input winding which is widely separated physically from the isolated output winding. The input winding normally runs at very moderate Flux linkage levels. The output winding exhibits an intrinsic energy characteristic and this energy storage operates in conjunction with mains capacitor to produce self-generated AC flux field which is indirectly excited from the input winding. The result is instantaneous voltage regulation. No transient and spikes. Sinewave output. A perfect answer and remedy for every electronic equipment.
