A louver is a ventilation product that allows air to pass through it while keeping out unwanted elements such as water, dirt, and debris. A number of fixed or operable blades mounted in a frame can provide this functionality. The basic considerations for selecting louvers are Free Area and Resistance to airflow (Pressure loss). COSMOS Linear Grilles and Registers covers a wide range for supply and return air distribution of HVAC systems and are suitable for ceiling, floor, sill and sidewall applications. They are selected for their pleasing continuous, line, architectural appearance and are designed for ventilation outlets and many other applications. COSMOS Linear grille series CL and CLE comes with standard widths ranges from 2 to 10. Linear Grilles & Registers are multi parallel fixed bar type in continuous modular section up to 2 meters long to form linear type grilles. Cosmos grilles are designed for cooling applications, supply and return. The grilles are manufactured with precision mitered corners to maximize quality. They are available in one way airflow pattern for 0, 15, 30 and 45 degree bar deflection and in one or two way air flow pattern for 15, 30 and 45 degree bar deflection. For quiet airflow, bars are equally spaced at 12.5mm distance. Mullion bars across the blades provide additional strength.

Plenum boxes are used for supply and exhaust of air through diffusers and grilles. The plenum box ensures a continuous flow to the diffuser, and plenum boxes equipped with dampers create the possibility of adjusting the diffuser on an individual level. Furthermore, the plenum box is usually supplied with acoustic insulation. This contributes to the sound attenuation inside the box. This way the noise from the air flow inside the air duct system and the sound from room to room is reduced.

COSMOS Nonreturn Pressure relief Gravity Back draft dampers have been specifically designed for use in Airconditioning and Ventilation system, these dampers are air operated and are used for air intake and exhaust, and are also used for pressure relief. Nonreturn Gravity Back draft dampers can either be operated by gravity (where pressure or velocity opens and closes the damper) or be motorized to open and close when required. These dampers are composed of a set of horizontally mounted blades, they are normally closed and are free to rotate about the horizontal axis. The blades are manufactured from light weight aluminum sheets. Frame is manufactured from high quality aluminum as well as from galvanized steel.

Air valves offer a simple yet effective means of providing supply and extract air for most commercial, industrial and domestic ventilation applications. The disc valves consist of a valve ring, central disc and installation sub frame. COSMOS disc valves are best suited to air distribution system handling relatively low air flow rates within small circular ductwork. Disc valves are Ideal for handling exhaust of greasy and damp areas like kitchen, restroom etc. They can be use for ventilation as well as supply applications. The air volume flow rate is adjusted by rotating the central disc which alters the size of the gap. This results in changes to acoustic and pressure drop figure. The central disc is held in position with a locknut.
