Air Cooled Chillers

COOLFAB EQUIPMENTS are the designer and manufacturer of Chilling Plants, Air-cooled Chillers use special compressors from Copeland, Danfoss & Bitzer. Starting from CF AC-1TR Capacity up to CF AC- 100TR Capacity with Single Compressor System, and then after we offer multiple Compressor System, as per requirement In compact design covering minimum floor area. Chillers are available with varied range of Refrigerants like Freon R 22, R 404a, R 407c, R 507, R 134a etc.

Chillers are provided with wide operating range, Low Noise, Low Vibration, Low Failure rate, and in compact design and maximum accessibility and total connectivity.

Components Of An Industrial Chiller

The mechanical compression cycle has four basic components through which the refrigerant passes: (1) the evaporator (2) the Refrigeration Compressors (3) the condenser (4) the expansion valve. The evaporator in the chiller will operate at a lower pressure and lower temperature than the condenser.

APPLICATIONS

A Chiller can be realized as a refrigeration system that cools water. Air conditioners and dehumidifiers condition the air while a chiller, using the same refrigerating operations, cools water, oil, or some other fluid. This chilled solution can then be used for cooling in a wide range of operations. Some of the most common applications are as follow:

Air Cooled Packaged Chillers

COOLFAB EQUIPMENTS Packaged Industrial air cooled Chillers are designed using sealed and scroll compressors sourced from danfoss and Copeland. These are available with multiple scroll compressors equipped in one machine. These are manufactured with special alloys like steel, worked on ultra lower temperature applications. They include separate and individual refrigeration circuits. Fabricated with a microprocessor that is suitable for process cooling applications ranging from (+) 20c up to (-) 5c and for lower temperatures of up to (-) 50c. These equipments are used with CFC free refrigerants such as R-407c and R-134a. At the side of this, it is available with in-built process pump and stainless steel chilled water expansion insulated tank rated for an ambient temperature of (+) 50c. Modular Air Cooled Chillers

Process Chillers

A process chiller is a refrigeration system using halocarbon or ammonia refrigerants that provide cooling for a process or industrial application. Since Cooling Technology, Inc only offers refrigeration systems, we will describe that type only. A refrigeration circuit consists of compressor(s), condenser(s), thermal expansion valve, and evaporator(s), at a minimum. Together, these components remove heat from a process load to provide consistent setpoint temperatures 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Process chillers are designed for the most rugged environments and conditions unlike commercial or HVAC chillers.

Process chillers for process cooling (or fluid chillers) have many commercial applications. In basic terms, a process chiller removes heat from fluid and transports that heat (energy) from a location that is not wanted to another more appropriate location. A good example of this would be an MRI or PET medical imaging system. When in operation, these systems can generate significant amounts of heat energy. If this energy is not removed quickly, these important medical diagnostic tools will cease to operate.

Process Chillers Types

The first step in determining the type of process (or fluid) chiller you need for your application it to determine how your chiller will reject the heat it has absorbed from the process. Below, are the two most common process chiller system types that represent over 98% of the market.

Air-cooled process chiller:As the name indicates, an air-cooled process chiller will reject process heat to the air. Typically these chillers are located outdoors thus transporting heat to the outside air.

Water-cooled process chiller:As the name indicates, a water-cooled process chiller will reject process heat to another fluid based medium. In most cases, heat rejection by water-cooled process chiller will go to an outdoor located evaporative cooling tower.
