Energy Efficient FRP Fans

SCS aerodynamically designed Aerofoil axial flow fans manufactured from high quality epoxy grade FRP material save up to 30% power as compared to aluminum fans. SCS fans achieve the best performance keeping power consumption and noise levels to the minimum possible.

Design Features

    • The unique aerofoil design ensures high efficiency, lower noise levels and less power consumption

    • Reinforced Fiberglass Epoxy Resin (FRP) provides the desired non-corrosive quality to the fan blades, resulting the operation of fans even in the most aggressive environment.

    • The hollow construction of blades makes the fan lightweight resulting into low starting torque and reduced power consumption under varying load conditions. This causes minimum wear and stress on motor bearings and drive shafts.

PVC T-die Line

Armed with an installed annual capacity of more than 5000 Tons, COOLDECK provides thin films (150 microns to 800 microns) in PVC and PP as well as thick sheets (0.8mm to 3mm) in PVC.

With a primary focus on opaque thin film applications, the PVC material is produced on our brand new calender line with unparalleled process controls in maintaining constant thickness. Serving application areas such as thermoforming, printing and cards, we can offer customized formulations tailor made to meet any specific requirements of mechanical properties, colours or surface finish.

PVC T-die line

The PP thin film market is served through our completely refurbished T-die line. Transparent, semi transparent and opaque material is manufactured for applications such as stationery and printing.

Our PVC T-die line allows us the opportunity to serve industrial and construction sectors with chemically inert, mechanically strong and fire resistant uPVC and rigid PVC sheets. These sheets can be easily cut, sawed, drilled, screwed, riveted and printed upon. The material is chemically inert, non corrosive, water resistant and self extinguishing.

Structured Media

Structured media consists of rigid PVC sheets especially embossed with a microstructure that not only aids in the formation of a biofilm but also enhances the surface area available within the reactor volume. These sheets are assembled into rectangular blocks before installing into the bioreactor. In case of aerobic applications, the blocks also facilitate the movement of air (oxygen) in the system. The blocks are installed in a cross stacking manner to ensure strength of the media installation.

Random Media

Random BioMedia B-185 has been designed for more important applications in wastewater treatment Viz., Trickling Filters or Biotowers, Hybrid Reactors with aerobic application and anaerobic applications. Since the product is made up of Poly Propylene material, it is non reactive and hence recommended for most applications including for refineries.

The B-185 Random BioMedia provides large surface area up to the tune of 105sq.m/m3 for the bacterial growth. The product has been extensively used for other industrial wastewater treatment application including Anaerobic hybrid reactors, SAFF reactors and other submerged aerobic applications. Trickling Filters or Biotwers are the other segments where B-185 Random BioMedia shall be used effectively. B-185 Random BioMedia shall be stacked for more than 8-10mtrs and still the media doesnt settle or crumble. The PP media has been treated for UV radiation and hence protected by sunlight!

The COOLOpti is one of the more established splash fills used in counterflow cooling towers. Due of the small surface area exposed to the falling water, COOLOpti is a nonfouling fill, and has been used extensively in industries and plants where fill fouling had been extensive.
Features and Advantages
  • The configuration of the COOLOpti allows water droplets to fall across multiple layers of horizontal strips.
  • Even as the water droplets bounce off from one layer to another the thin strips cause shearing action on them causing them to break into smaller droplets.
  • The construction COOLOpti is configured to maximize the probability of the water droplets continuously encountering these thin horizontal strips on their way down to the basin. This is evident from the fact that alternate layers of the installed COOLOpti have these strips displaced from the layers above rather than all in a single line. This results in a far more efficient working of the splashing principle.
The grids are supported in uniformly spaced tiers throughout the cell width and length on stainless steel wires hung from supports installed under the water distribution system, and on polypropylene supports specifically designed to secure the grid to the wires. Each grid in each tier is secured to all adjacent grids by special clips that tie the entire fill assembly securely in place

The rectangular timber slats provide very little in terms of enhanced surface area for the air and water to mix. COOLDECK has designed perforated slats to replace existing rectangular timber slats with upto 20% increase in efficiency.
The water droplets spread over the solid surface and perforated holes of the splash bar. The flowing water is held on the holes due to surface tension and forms a thin film. The water film formed over these rectangular holes has very low surface tension at its corners and thus a tendency to rupture frequently. During this process of rupturing the water film is broken into small globules, thus providing maximum heat transfer.
