The Control Print LCP Printers work on the basis of the non-contact Valvejet Drop-on-Demand inkjet process. A printer primarily consists of an ink system, in which the ink is kept under a relatively low pressure, a housing with an electric control system and a printing head which is connected with the two other parts by flexible hoses. Ink is transported by the ink system to the printing head where it supplies the jet (normally 7 or 17 jets with an average diameter of approximately 150 m).
