Colourtech Polyurethane (PU) Pigmentsare high quality dispersions of organic and inorganic pigments for use in the manufacture of PU products such as flexible slab-stock foam, semi flexible foams of various densities, Integral Skin, Rigid Foams and shoe soles.
Colourtech Polyurethane (PU) Pigmentsare are specialised formulations and are available in both Polyether as well as Polyester Polyols of various molecular weights and colours such as Yellow, Blue, Green, Orange, Red, White, Violet and Black. Customised colours are available subject to minimum order quantities. Based on the choice of the carrier, the customer can ensure that physical properties of the final product remains unchanged at any level of the pigment loading.

Colourtech PU Pigment pastes are dispersions of high quality pigments in polyether polyols of 3000 molecular weights - 56 OH. This ensure 100% compatibility & allows for seamless integration with the slab stock, leading to Homogeneous colouring. PU Pigments serve three main functions: the optical function of providing colour, opacity and uniform finish
Our pigments are manufactured to a tolerance of CIELAB D.E.1 against a master standard. This ensures batch to batch consistency for the end user, to obtain uniform colour of foam at specific densities. Customers have a wide choice of shades. Customised shade matching is also possible. Typically pigments are used in the range of 0.5- 6% loading based on the final colour requirement and density of foam manufactured.

Colourtech Epoxy Pigmentsare stable dispersions of dry organic/ inorganic pigment powders in a saturated polymeric plasticizer. They are used for coloring epoxy resins/hardner systems for all epoxy based applications. Epoxies are known for their excellent adhesion, heat resistance, chemical resistance, excellent mechanical properties, and very good electrical insulating properties.

Pigment usageColourtech Epoxy Pigments can be used at 5-10% based on the weight of the resin. Small quantities of pigments can be mixed easily by hand stirring. However for large quantities of pigments, power mixing is essential. As a general rule the epoxy resin should be added to the pigment, with simultaneous stirring. Note that the hardener should be added to the pigmented epoxy at the actual time of use, according to the instructions of the epoxy resin system manufacturer.
Range of ColoursA wide range of colors are manufactured as per our standard color chart. In addition, pigment colors are matched to BS, IS and RAL shades other than special shades as per customer's requirements.
Product Application
Colourtech Pigmentsare available in several colors and are formulated to work with styrenated polyester resins. It is mainly used in the manufacture of flat sheets, corrugated sheets, polyester castings, and for stained glass work.
