Colossus®Bentostrip is a hydrophilic joint sealant composed of natural sodium bentonite clay and butyl rubber. The Colossus® Bentostrip joint sealants are used for the waterproof sealing of construction joints in concrete. According to the type the sealant can be used in both fresh water andor salt water applications, making the Colossus® Bentostrip joint sealants very versatile.

Swellseal Mastic WA adheres to concrete, PVC, HDPE, steel, fibre glass, etc. In contact with water Swellseal Mastic WA will expand to about 200% of it’s original volume. Flexible system, which adapts to the irregular surface of the substrate. Easy application with a standard caulking gun. Durable: will exceed the construction’s life. Good chemical resistance. Incase of construction of new water tanks, dense, impermeable concrete should be made by incorporating Conproof IWC (an integral waterproofing compound having plasticizing action).Sealing Tape at the joint between vertical wall and horizontal slab ( Construction Joints) . Application Procedure : Cut the Colossus Sealing Tape to the required length and press onto the still fresh Colossus sealing compound, which serves as the adhesive base. Ensure that there is a tape overlap of at least 5 cm. Use a smoothing trowel to level out any uneven areas or distortions. Apply two or three coats and ensure that the tape is fully covered with the sealing compound.Use Colossus moulded Inside Corner and Out Side corner where ever it require.Colossus Inside Corners Outside Corner are used as durable, watertight sealing in corners beneath ceramic layers. The inside corners outside corners are embedded full surface in the sealing compound used.

The material sets very quickly before the proper curing procedure starts which can be recognized by the resulting turbidity of the material. After one day the area treated with Colossus® Soil – 2601 has already stabilized to form an autonomous body. Similar to the cement-bonding process in concrete, The stabilized soil remains water-permeable.
