CMP specialises in manufacture, supply and installation of 'GLYDO' type High Production Metal Finishing Plant complete with Transporter and associated facilities on a turn-key basis. Most suitable for all varieties of commercial plating in manual, semi-automatic or fully automatic and custom built versions.
CMP also manufacture and supply Process Tanks of any description in desired capacities out of any material, be it mild steel, stainless steel, rubber, poly-propelene etc., with or without lining, complete with ducting system for efficient exhaustion of fumes. Ducting can be fabricated in a range of materials including fibre glass and can be adapted for any process.
The Sentinel range of filter units has been specially developed for the filtration of electroplating solutions and the range of capacities available will meet the majority of automatic and manual plating installation requirements.
Sentinel filter units are totally enclosed, provide a large filtration area, are easy to clean and maintain, and provide effective retention of activated carbon or filter aids.
The filters are designed to take plate packs and the standard units incorporate a rubber lined centrifugal pump.

Sentinel filters are not suitable for the filtration of chromium plating solutions.
Filtration of anodising solutions: For sulphuric acid anodising solutions standard Sentinel filter units are advised.Sentinel fiter units are supplied in three sizes having one, two and three filter containers respectively. The filter contains are made of steel with a special quality high temperature cured rubber lining and are mounted on a sturdy tubular steel cradle. On standard units the motor-driven pump is mounted within the cradle, below the filter container. The single and double container units are fitted with castors for ease of movement, the three-container unit is provided with mountings for foundation bolts.
Filter Pack:Sentinel filter are supplied with a plate type pack as described on the reverse. Packs can easily be removed from the container for cleaning of replacement without the use of a hoist, and to simplify this operation valves are fitted to the individual containers in case of larger filter units to enable them to be drained of solution.
Centrifugal Pump:The Standard Sentinel filter units incorporate close coupled centrifugal pumps designed for filtration duties. A non-metallic/stainless steel impeller housed in a rubber lined cast iron body is used with an immersed type.
Mechanical seal. Alternatively magnetically coupled, seals monoblock pumps can also be supplied. The filter units are supplied complete with a suitable motor, mounted on the tubular frame. A valve is fitted to the pump inlet to permit the unit be isolated.
Pipework:Sentinel filters are provided with flanged inlets and outlets, permitting when required, direct connection to rigid plastic or rubber lined steel pipework. The units are supplies complete with two 3 metre (10ft.) lengths of reinforced acid resistant polypropylene hose including appropriate spigots.

Barrel plating is widely employed for the bulk processing of small to medium sized components. The types of barrel plating include perforated barrels which are immersed in plating solution and open ended solid barrels in which the solution, the anode and the work are contained inside the barrel (inclined).
Barrels are available of suitable plastic material with perforation of 3mm, 1.6mm, or herringbone. The inclined plating barrels are available in four capacities 0.14 litres (Mini), 0.56 litres (Minor), 2.25 litres (Major) and 9/14 litres (Master).
With the built in mechanism, the barrel is emptied efficiently, simply by hand with minimum effort, discharging the plated articles through a chute into a basket thus eliminating hoist. These barrels are ideally suited for use in limited space, and suitable for, most solutions except chrome.
Wasteful build-up of metal inside the barrel is minimised by specially designed cathode contacts which are completely covered by the articles during deposition. The large capacity of the submerged barrel and the rapid turnaround of loads give the Numinik a greater rated output than most barrels of comparable size.

CMP Mechanical Agitation Unitscome in two versions, horizontal cathode rod moving arrangement and vertical cathode rod moving arrangement consisting of an oil immersed reduction gear unit based on an angle iron fixture to suit the plating tank.
AIR AGITATION UNITS are used to provide water washed oil-free air for the agitation of cleaning, swilling and plating tanks. Two standard sizes of Air Agitation Units are available and the size of unit required depends upon the total length of coils used to agitate the solution.
For cleaning, swilling and general plating solutions, it is recommended to provide double row air agitation coils under each line of work.

These units operate at a working pressure of 0.22/0.25 kg/cm2 (3/3.5 p.s.i.). If the Air agitation unit is situated at a considerable distance from the tank, allowance should be made for reduction of pressure due to friction in the service pipework. Loss of pressure will also result if the holes in the air agitation coil are enlarged. The holes are normally drilled in the on the top of the coil which should be situated directly under the plating jigs to ensure the efficient removal of hydrogen bubbles from the articles during processing.

Barrels are available of suitable plastic material with submerged plating barrel perforations of 3 mm, 1.6 mm or herringbone as desired. Herringbone perforations can be offered only in case of hexagonal barrels.
Cooling coils of suitable material can be fitted in these units if required.
