Cabinet Type Spray Washing Machine

Operation of the machine :-
    • The parts to be cleaned are sprayed with a high flow via the spray bars, which rotate either through spray pressure or a mechanical drive. The spray bars are mounted with flat pattern nozzles, which provide efficient cleaning results. The machines are fully insulated with stainless steel panels, and therefore the wash water can be heated up to 90C. Normal working temperature is from 60 - 75C.

Wash day and night
  • The R 6272A Cleaner is perfect for installation in any production lines, where machines have to run continuously for 24 hours. The machine is equipped with an efficient return flow system, which returns the cleaning solution through a filtration system to the wash tank. The wash water is continuously filtered and collects any loose debris from the components. On the pressure side of the pump system, efficient pressure filters are installed to prevent nozzles blocking, which could otherwise reduces the cleaning performance.

  • An oil skimmer is a machine that separates a liquid from particles floating on it or from another liquid.

Paper Band Filter /Gravity Filter

PAPER BAND FILTER
  • The paper band filter is a combination of a wire supported mesh with straight rod conveying the filter paper as the filtration medium. This is the fully automatic & includes a clean coolant tank, dust bin, non woven synthetic filter fabric (normally called as filter paper) driving system, control system.
  • Flow rates from 40 to 850 litres/min.

PRINCIPLES OF OPERATION:-
  • The coolant enters the filter via a flow dispenser and falls directly onto the filter media bed, which is retained in a pool state by an endless steel mesh belt. The coolant passes through the media which retains the solids and flows directly into the clean tank where it can be pumped back to the machine head. When the media is contaminated, the liquid level rises raising with it a ball float, which in turn actuates a switch and causes the endless belt to move forward via a reduction geared unit. The contaminated filter media is discharged into a waste bin. Whilst the belt is moving forward, the clean media is brought on, thus allowing the coolant to pass freely and the float to fall.

Oil Coalescer

OIL COALESCER
  • This type of system is normally used to remove tramp oil from the base fluid or coolant in agitated form.
  • Oil has lesser density as compared to water. So, if any reason mixes them with water or water based coolants they float on the surface when the mixture is made stable. This is very basic method of removing tramp oil from the water or water-based coolants. To avail this characteristic of oil the stable zones are specifically prepared in the fluid handling systems.
  • But if the fluid is in agitated form then tramp oil cannot get sufficient time to float on surface and hence specific systems are necessary. COALESCING is one of the methods adopted to remove tramp oil from such fluids. The tramp oil is in form of small goblets scattered in the fluid. Unless these goblets come together and form a globule it wont float on the fluid surface.
  • For achieving formation of globule of the oil, the fluid is passed through the layers of material, which has affinity to oil. The fluid from which oil is to be separated is passed at a very slow velocity through the layers of this material. The velocity reduction is achieved by diverting fluid through no. of partitions. During the passage the goblets of oil gets attached to the surface of coalescing material and form big globule. This globule floats on the surface, from where it is taken out to drain.
  • As in case of filtration of the suspended solids the stage filtration is done to achieve required degree of fine filtration. This reduces load of contaminant on the fine filter element. Similarly in case coalescer type oil removal system coarser coalescing and dense coalescing pads are used to have finer separation.

Leak Test Machine.

INTRODUCTION
  • In the cleaning industry, components and systems must be leak tested to ensure that cleaning leakages are below specified limits.
  • THE THREE BASIC FUNCTIONS OF LEAK TESTING ARE
  • 1) determining if there is leakage or not (detection),
  • 2) measurement of leak rate and
  • 3) leakage location.
  • There are many methods and types of test equipment for solving these problems, but unfortunately there is no single technique that fits every situation. Each test method is suitable only for a specific leak rate or for fixed forms and technologies. In most instances where leak detection is used, explicit leak rate measurement is not required, but the system must be able to recognize if the leak rate is above or below a specified level. This reference limit depends on the maximum acceptable leak rate, consistent with the reasonable working life expectation for final products, and, especially in certain countries, on rules and regulations constraints
  • 2 LEAK TESTING METHODS
  • A leak can be defined as an unintended crack, hole or porosity in an enveloping wall or joint, which must contain or exclude different fluids and gases allowing the escape of closed medium. Critical leak spots in closed systems are usually connections, gaskets, welded and brazed joints, defects in material, etc.
  • 2.1 WATER IMMERSION BUBBLE TEST METHOD
  • The water-immersion bubble test, also called "bubble testing" or "dunking", is a traditional and relatively primitive technique of leak detection. It consists of immersing a charged or pressurized part, usually with high-pressure dry air or nitrogen, in a water tank and watching for escaping bubbles. The larger and more frequent the bubbles, the bigger the leakage.
  • 2.2 SOAP SOLUTION BUBBLE TEST
  • Instead of submersing the part in water, the pressurized unit to be tested is sprayed with a soap solution and the operator is able to see the bubbles formed by gas escaping from where the leak is. Soap solutions are available in many different types. Some have a brush applicator and others have a dabber (an absorbent ball attached to a stiff wire inside of the cap.) Some brands may even have a spray applicator to quickly cover large areas of tubing in a short amount of time. This is an advantage but is also messy and time consuming to clean up. Some soap solutions even have an antifreeze base to prevent them from freezing in the winter time. Others may have a lower density to make them even more sensitive to very tiny leaks. This method has a higher sensitivity than water immersion.
  • 2.3 PRESSURE DECAY TEST
  • This method consists of pressurizing the system with a high pressure gas, usually dry air or nitrogen. Then the part is isolated from the gas supply and, after a stabilizing period, its internal pressure is monitored over time. The pressure drop p is measured in the time t. If the pressure in the system drops fast, there is a large leak present in that component or section of the system. If the systems pressure drops slowly, there is a small leak present. If the pressure remains the same, that component is leak-free.
  • 2.4 VACUUM DECAY TEST OR PRESSURE RISE TEST
  • A vacuum decay test or pressure rise test works in the opposite way of the pressure decay test. This method involves evacuating the part to suitably low pressures and, after stabilizing the pressure, measuring the increase in pressure caused by test media entering the part. Only parts that are able to withstand external pressure can be tested in this way(e.g. thin-walled plastic parts cannot be tested due to the danger of collapsing).
