we are offering spheroidal graphite cast iron rolls.pearlitic spheroidal graphite rolls have a thick layer of cast iron with nodular graphite, the name of such roll is based on the fact that the material consists of nodular graphite and carbides in a pearlitic matrix, the softest grades have a pearlitic matrix containing ferrite around the graphite nodules, while the higher hardness grades have a complete pearlitic matrix, the carbide content increases proportionately with the hardness. acicular spheroidal graphite rolls:acicular spheroidal graphite rolls also have a thick layer of cast iron with nodular graphite, here, the name of such roll is based on the fact that the material consists of nodular graphite and carbides in a pearlitic - bainitic matrix, the carbide content is considerably higher in the harder grades than the softer ones. advantage: s.g iron rolls are so superior in wear resistance to that of cast steel rolls that they are specially adapted for roughing and intermediate plate mills and rod or bar mill roughers. as a result of the spheroidal form of the graphite, s g iron rolls are much stronger than rolls of the clear-chill type and the gradual fall in hardness is an added advantage, as such, these rolls are particularly suitable for tmt and strip mills, also bar billet mills, and are being increasingly used for other applications.

we are offering cast iron rolls for steel re rolling mills.these are cast iron based rolls alloyed with nickel, chromium and molybdenum having a matrix of pearlite and carbide with flake graphite. the material has very good thermal properties coupled with property of imparting good surface finish to the product. these rolls are also available in higher hardness range where the matrix is bainitic instead of pearlitic. applications: these rolls are used primarily for section rolling and finishing stands of rod mill.
