Electronic sounders shall operate on 24 VDC nominal. Electronic sounders shall be field programmable without the use of special tools, at a sound level of at least 90 dB measured at 10 feet from the device.

The motor starter shall be automatic starDelta type conforming to IS 1822-1967. The unit shall include suitable current transformer and ammeter of suitable range on one line to indicate the current.

All yard hydrant valves are as per IS 5290. The valve is completed with and wheels, quick coupling connections, springs and blank caps. The hydrant is laid on 150100-mm mains stand posts of 80 mm dia for single hydrants at l.0 t o 1.2 m above ground level.

A Fire brigade inlet connection with gunmetal four numbers connecting head 63mm dia instantaneous type inlets with built in check valve outlet connection to the fire main grid with butterfly valve.

Landing valves is of 63mm dia double headed type female instantaneous pattern with caps and chain. The valves conform to IS 5290 in all respects. Landing valves is of gun metal and fixed with Instantaneous coupling conforming to IS 901.

The fire hose reels is provided with 19mm dia high pressure rubber hose of specified length with gunmetal nozzles and control valve, shut off valve, all mounted on a circular hose reel drum of mild steel construction and cast-iron bracket.
