Chamunda Alpha Ci 7008 is a part of New Chamunda Intelligent Series Machines and is a High Speed Single Rotary Tableting Machine.
The machine is fully automated and is equipped with advance features required for the purpose of quality pharmaceutical production. Built on the principle of latest tablet technology Alpha Ci 7008 is a versatile and is suitable for the medium batch size production.

Fluid Bed Dryer offers a lucid solution to drying of wet granules, crystalline or coarse materials. It utilizes the principle of passing the hot air at a high velocity through the bed of the material to be dried, thus causing it to fluidize.
The blower situated on the exhaust side of the dryer operates no negative pressure principle, which creates the induced draught and sucks in the fresh air into the dryer. A stream of hot filtered air is introduced from the bottom of product container containing the wet material. This container is provided with the air distribution plate and Dutch sieve. The air stream is passed through the bed of the material and fluidizes the product particles by creating the turbulence in the product container. Due to fluidization each particle gets surrounded by hot air, which leads quick & uniform heating and drying. Filter bags provided at the top prevent escaping of particles from the machine.

Chamunda DUO PRESS (Double Rotary) is developed to meet the R & D or production sector in the Tableting zone of the pharmaceutical industry. The aesthetic look and innovative compact design built on the principles of latest tablet technology further supports the consistency of the machine. This machine comes with the variant tooling such as D, B, D + B and D + B + BB to meet the customize requirements.
SALIENT FEATURESThe MSS operates on the rotating cam principal. The intensity of the vibration can be adjusted by changing the speed of the drive unit. The Universal Gear is required for adjusting the operating angle & for the speed reduction of various attachments. This apparatus is used for moulding suppositories, lipsticks and similar products. This equipment permits melting, agitation and mixing during the filling operation. Stainless steel kettle and agitator are heated by a glycerin bath and 1000 watt heating element. Thermostat permits adjustment of temperature of kettle contents from 20o to 100o C by 1 graduations.The sled, below the filler nozzle, holds any type of mould. It is adjustable in all directions and controlled by a hand wheel. Capacity of kettle is 3.5 liters. Heating jacket requires 2.75 Kg. of glycerin. Production varies with material, moulds etc., but production rates up to 4, 000 moulds per hour are not unusual. The pot for filling and moulding suppositories and lipsticks is suitable for screwing on all main motor drive units.
The mould as per the requirement of customer can be designed at extra cost.
Drum Hoop Mixer has been designed for mixing such as powder and granules. The Drum Hoop Mixer is equally suited to research as well as industrial use in the pharmaceutical, food, chemical and plastics fields. Drum Hoop Mixer comprises of two parts.
1. The Drive Unit with drum hoop support stands.2. Acrylic mixing drum with rotating fixture.The Drum Hoop Mixer is suitable for all main drive units.
can mix all types of different viscous liquids. Agitator consists of stirring kettle arm and agitating driving unit. The kettle and stirring arm are made of stainless steel. Agitator is used for stirring, agitating & beating all kinds of liquids, emulsions, suspensions and similar mixtures. The kettle can be supplied with double jacket for cooling and heating by water (optional). The agitator is suitable for screwing on all main drive units.
An ideal mixer for creams, ointments, pastes, and liquids, but also for wetted powders. The sturdily constructed planetary gear can be equipped with various mixing and kneading attachments, made of stainless steel. Depending upon type of the material to be processed, a dough arm, a mixing paddle. Any material, which sticks to the walls of the kettle, is scraped continuously by the Teflon scrapper, which is shaped to fit exactly the kettle wall. Therefore, homogeneous mixing results in the shortest time.
The Vacuum planetary mixer is suitable for screwing on main motor drive.
The Powder Mixer having horizontal half round bowl open on upper-side with acrylic cover and specially designed mixing blade having two stages both right and left hand, ribbon type mixing blades.
The left and right hand spiral with upper and lower blade is rotated to circulate the material to be mixed. The half round bowl and spiral mixing blade made out of stainless steel. Within few minutes, it can be empty by tilting. Top cover provided with electro-magnetic interlock, which stops the motor of the Drive Unit automatically.
The power mixer is suitable for all main drive units.
Ball Mill can be used for grinding crystalline material, for mixing dry materials and under certain conditions wet materials. Ball Mill consists of three main parts. Drive unit with stand, Ball Mill jar with cover and stainless steel balls. The jar cover is held in place by a knurled screw and support, which forces it against a rubber gasket for airtight seal. The Ball Mill jar top cover and balls are made of stainless steel material. Ball diameter is 5/8. The ball Mill jar rests on two rollers. The speed rotation is controlled by electronic speed controller. The Ball Mill jar & balls may be sterilized in a water bath. The Ball Mill is suitable for screwing on main drives.
The mini ball mill is suitable for preparing small samples for analysis / for grinding or mixing small quantities of powdery substances. The ball mill is attached to the main motor Drive through Universal Gear Type (UD).The miniature ball mill utilizes 5/8 mm diameter S.S. balls.
Used in the preparation of oil-in-water and water-in-oil construction in quantity upto 15 Ltr. per hour. A piston pump produces homogenization. Materials may be fed to pump either from a hopper, having a capacity of 1.5 litters, or a screw nozzle may be attached with a suction filter, which sucks the premixed materials from a storage container.
Homogenization takes place by the forward and backward movements of the piston. A vacuum is created during the backstroke of the piston, which sucks the liquid back. During the forward movement of the piston, the liquid is pushed against the tip of the nozzle.
Adjustment of the nozzle determines the fineness of the homogenization. Homogeniser is equipped with a graduated scale. Hopper, piston and nozzle are made of stainless steel. The homogeniser is suitable for screwing on all main drive units.

1. Heat able Funnel.Made of stainless steel supplied with electrical heating unit to maintain temperature to 60o C (140o F).2. Filler and CirculatorTo speed bottle filling permits filling directly, into bottle and recirculates overflow material to hopper for re-homogenization.
The Cube Mixer is based on a movement, which through its tumbling effect produces a homogeneous mixture in the shortest possible time. The product to be mixed is treated very gently. The Cube Mixer can be attached to the Universal Gear Type (UD), which can also be used for operating the coating pan. The Mixing movement of the product in the mixer is deflected and interfered by three mixing rods made of stainless steel. The Cube Mixer is suitable for screwing on all main drive units.
Double Cone Mixer is useful for free flowing product or granules. It operates on free flow principal. The mixing is achieved by the cone. The mixing drum made out of stainless steel having capacity of 5 ltrs. Operational capacity is 50% to 60%. The cone mixer is suitable for screwing on all main drive unit
The felt-lined drum is designed for polishing coated tablets. The covers, which locks quickly into places with three snap closures, as well as the bottom of the drums are lined with felt. All felt parts are easily exchangeable.
The cover is fitted with acrylic sheet window, which permits the observation of the polishing process. The polishing drum is suitable for screwing on all main motor drive units through Universal gearing (UD).
The attachment is suitable to fill drip free and dose accurately, ointments, creams, pharmaceutical and cosmetic emulsions, toothpaste, oil paints, liquids, detergents, jam, mustard, ketchup, honey and similar products into tubes, jars, bottles, plastic containers, etc. Other advantages are the easy adjustment, the quick removal of the pump and hopper for cleaning and sterilizing and the really space saving design as a table machine.It has a filling range from 50 to 200 ml. In order to obtain exact filling volumes, cylinder and piston must be changed over when filling smaller quantities than 50 ml. Depending upon the type of product, an exchangeable nozzle is used which is supplied with the apparatus in three different diameters, with openings of 2mm, 4mm & 8mm.
The hopper has a capacity of 18 litres, and all parts in contact with the material to be filled are made of stainless steel. The Dosing Filler is designed to be connected on all main drive units.
Coating Pan can be mounted on Motor Drive unit via Universal gearing type UD, which permits Coating pan to be held at any angle up to 45o with reduction in speed. For drying the coated-tablets an infrared drying attachment with adjustable height is provided. The maximum operational capacity is 30% of coating pan volume. The coating pan is suitable for screwing on all main drives.
Clit Colloid Mill is suitable for Homogenizing, Emulsifying, Dispersing, Mixing, Comminuting of liquids to highly viscous products. It is based on rotor-stator principle. It is available in plan as well as Water Jacketed model which is suitable for heat sensitive products. Flame Proof electrical can be supplied on demands.

Clit Coating Machine is available with 30, 36, 42, 48, 60 or 72, size SS Pan. Coating Machine is totally enclosed with MS Cladding with standard Gear Box, Motor, Hot Air Blowing arrangement. Machine is designed with MS fabricated structure and all arrangement except electric control, air filter and SS Pan are inside the enclosure, which makes simple cleanable outside covering. Machine is mounted on dynamounts which avoids foundation.
30, 36, 42 or 48 Coating Machine has variable speed drive and hot air blowing system is built in the machine.
60 or 72 Coating Machine has two speeds with step pulley without hot air blowing system. Suitable hot air blowing system can be supplied separately on demand.
All clit Coating Machines are provided with interlocked electrical circuit so that heaters can be operated only after blowers are made ON to avoid burning of hearts. Coating SS Pan Mouth ring is soldered at their rim cavities to avoid collection of dirt or contaminated drug. Clit standards machine with Redicon Gear Box and NGEF or Siemens Motor and all electrical controls are of Siemens or L&T make. Thermostat control can be provided on demand. On customer demand, Gear Box and electrical including motors can be provided local make for economic purpose.
