Flame Retardant Transformer

Flame-retardant Transformer significantly reduced the possibility of fire as compared to power Transformer by using flame-retardant type insulation oil (R-TEMP Oil). Iljin Flame-retardant Transformer is the result of long experiences and accumulated technologies and the results of verification of characteristics of flame-retardant insulation oil (R-TEMP Oil) as well as optimum design for the characteristics and in-house simulations were applied to this product. This product passed the development test conducted by KEPCO.

The possibility of fire at the underground substation in downtown where electricity consumption is concentrated is an issue which we have to pay attention all the rime, and the use of flame-retardant Transformer to solve the problem will greatly contribute to securing the stability of substations.
