The Camfield Oscillator has been developed to provide smooth, positive, cam controlled rotary-linear combined motions to an external shaft. A compact housing encloses the internal parts and provides (6) different mounting surfaces to suit a wide variety of installations. The modified construction avoids the necessity of providing openings in the mounting base plate for clearance purposes. TYPE A OSCILLATING-LINEAR  output movement wherein the output shaft reverses its rotation after each complete linear stroke.

Camfield’s Parallel Cam Indexers are ideal for High Speed Application or for actuation type applications. Parallel Cam Indexers use a pair of conjugate plate cams with yoke – mounted followers parallel to the axis of the output. The input and output shafts are parallel, in a combination that means there are no ribs on the Cam and no reversal of the Cam followers. Rates of more than 1000 indexes per minute are possible with parallel Indexers. Due to the Cam and Turret design, extremely small index angles are possible resulting in a longer Dowel period. These units can be used as a modern, accurate replacement for Geneva style mechanism, and are also available as oscillators.   CNC Profile Cut and Hardened Extra Heavy Duty Cam Followers Eccentric Bushing Bearing Housing for Pre-loading adjustment between Cam and Followers. Camfields Barrel Cam Indexers are ideal for Dial application such as driving a linage or inline conveyor.  The rigid housing design and stable bearing arrangement guarantees a smooth vibration free motion. This unit is also capable of high positional accuracies due to the large PCD of the Roller followers but more suited for slower speeds with large mass movement.           Cast Iron Alloy Body Output shaft supported by oversized Tapered – Roller Bearing.
