Rain water harvesting is one of the common and most liked Science project by children. It is very popular in science fair exhibitions. In this DIY ( Do it Yourself) project, two different types of roof i.e tilted roof and flat roof are built. Children observe how rain water can be stored in these two types of roof. Once the water gets stored, they also build a syringe pump which helps them understand how water gets pumped.Child gets introduces to the concept of one way valve .
