Bry-Air Centralised Drying System packages a Dehumidifying BHD Series dryer with option of two or three drying hoppers on a single stand
The Bry-Air® Seed Dryers and Seed Storage Systems dry and preserve seeds without affecting their quality.
Seeds need to be preserved for short term and long term for future use .replanting as well as research. Seed ageing and ultimately death occurs due to time. However, it is possible to ensure long survival of seeds by controlling temperature and relative humidity. Reduction in temperature and moisture content ensures increased seed life.
Seeds can be preserved for long period by lowering the moisture content of seeds to around 5%.This is achieved by drying the seeds. Conventionally, seeds are dried at elevated temperatures which destroy their germination potential.
Bry-Air Seed Dryers, based on the state-of-the-art Desiccant Dehumidification Drying Technology, dry the seeds to the required level in approximately eight (8) hours without affecting their quality.Seeds dried prior to storage can regain moisture and suffer damage if not stored under controlled conditions. Dried seeds can be preserved for years in dehumidified stores without loss of germination potential.
Bry-Air Dehumidification based Seed Dryers and Storage Systems are being used extensively world over by commercial and plant breeding organisations including the FAO.

The Industry 4.0 compliant generation next Bry Wheel rotor works on the principle of the Honeycomb technology which results in 25% more energy savings, 100% reliability and zero downtime. This ensures a much better control over dewpoint and temperature. This rotor is specially crafted for a very low dewpoint upto (-) 65°C. Other than this the rotor combines the advantages of maximum surface area for drying, higher efficiency, light weight, amazing structural strength, lower drying cost with unlimited options for stand alone, single station operation as well as multi station centralized installation.
How does it work ?
Crafted for very low dewpoint upto (-) 65°C, the BWD series of dryers ensures a much better control over dewpoint, temperature and hence production process, even being far away. These dryers can be operated and controlled by a mobile phone, tablet or phablet.
These dryers are simple and easy to operate and maintain. Moisture laden air enters the unit through the process inlet and passes through the BryWheel where the moisture is adsorbed. The moisture is, thus, removed through a process of continuous physical adsorption. The dry, dehumidified air is then delivered to the conditioned area through the process outlet.
The rotating desiccant wheel/ rotor moves into the reactivation segment well before “saturation” where the moisture is driven off by the hot air blown through the reactivation segment of the rotor.
The continuously revolving rotor at a slow speed provides extremely stable temperature and dewpoint control. The rotor technology minimises energy consumption by reducing structural mass, leading to less energy wasted.
