The POLARSTEM has been clinically used since 2002 and is based on a philosophy that has yielded excellent clinical results in the last 25 years. The simple surgical technique leads to reproducible results and allows implantation using both conventional and minimally invasive techniques. It can be used for all standard femoral morphologies. The range of stems allows the implant to be matched to all bone sizes, thereby reproducing the natural hip architecture.
The non-cemented POLARSTEM range includes 12 standard femoral stems with a CCD angle of 135 and 10 lateral femoral stems with a CCD angle of 126. All non-cemented implants are coated with an open-pored titanium plasma/HA coating.
The highly polished cemented POLARSTEM range includes 9 standard femoral stems and 8 lateral femoral stems.
The BIOSURE family of interference screws provides an all-purpose range of screws and instrumentation. BIOSURE Interference Screws incorporate the latest proven technologies to help you deliver graft fixation. Available in 24 sizes, including 6 mm screws for double bundle repairs and reverse thread screws for right knees.
Absorbable: Our absorbable BIOSURE HA interference screw combines poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) with hydroxyapatite (HA), a calcium phosphate similar to the mineral compound of bone.
Non Absorbable: Our non-absorbable BIOSURE PK interference screw incorporates PEEK-OPTIMA polymer from Invibio. With a modulus similar to cortical bone, PEEK-OPTIMA material exhibits a combination of strength, stiffness and toughness, together with biocompatibility. BIOSURE PK interference screws offer the revisability of an absorbable screw and inherent radiolucent characteristics
The TRIGEN META-NAIL Tibial Nail is the latest addition to the TRIGEN family of intramedullary nails. With a full range of sizes, the Tibial Nail is a comprehensive approach to the treatment of tibial fractures. For enhanced patient safety, this system includes the ACUFEX DIRECTOR PCL Safety Stop, which easily snaps onto the ACUFEX DIRECTOR Guide Handle and provides a positive drill stop when used with the Safety Guide Wire. Use of these components requires the ACUFEX DIRECTOR ACL system.

The Smith & Nephew XTENDOBUTTON Fixation Device, used in conjunction with any Smith & Nephew ENDOBUTTON device, allows a 6 to 10 mm area of the femoral tunnel to be covered. In addition to providing an effective solution for cortical blowouts, this device can accommodate a variety of femoral tunnel drilling techniques including inside-out, outside-in and medial portal.
The BIOSURE SYNC Tibial Fixation Device was designed to increase the graft fixation strength on the tibial side - and acknowledge weak link in ACL repair1 - to provide a more rigid and robust ACL reconstruction. The device employs an interference screw and outer sheath that works in synchrony to separate and hold up to four strands of tendon firmly in place inside the tibial tunnel.
Built on the principle that the greater tendon-to-bone contact also has a positive effect of healing, the BIOSURE SYNC device compresses the graft against the walls for 360 contact throughout the length of the tunnel
The titanium ENDOBUTTON device maximizes the amount of graft in the tunnel, a solution for accommodating shorter femoral tunnels that result from more anatomic placement.
