Abacus is a manual tool, invented by the chinese around 2000 years ago to solve mathematical problems. Abacus is said to be the earliest form of digital computer.
Origination “abacus” is a latin word has its origination from the greek words abax or abakon which are possibly originated from the semitic word abq, meaning "sand".
Abacus as educational equipment we train young minds on abacus using the japanese soroban method which is quite effective in teaching mathematical calculating skills to young children. In this method of learning, you will notice a frame containing five row of beads sling on the rods one in upper section and rest four in lower. This powerful exercise of mental arithmetic basically increases the coordination between the right and left brain by stimulating the brain cells.
