Clip Tester

This is a low cost system on Begapts mPC Platform for detection of missing clips in wiring harness assembly. In the assembly of wiring harness, clips are needed to be tightened at designated places. At few instances clips are not placed due to manual error. Detection of missing clips if any is required.

  • Enables to test the clips easily, displaying the errors detected in the wiring harness through glow of LED on the designated fixture. It detects the following errors:
    • Missing Clip
    • Excess Clip
  • When the test is correct Potential Free contact shall be generated. It is also possible to print a label at the end of OK Test.

Plc Based Synchroscope

The operation of connecting an alternator in parallel with another alternator or with common bus-bars is known as synchronizing. Generally, alternators are used in a power system where they are parallel with many other alternators. It means that the alternator is connected to a live system of constant and constant frequency. Often the electrical system to which the alternator is connected, has already so many alternators and loads connected to it that no matter what power is delivered by the incoming alternator, the voltage and frequency of the system remains the same. In that case, the alternator is said to be connected to infinite bus-bars. Traditional system uses Full Bright Lamp method or Full Dark Lamp method for the synchronization of alternator. This system is automatic synchronization of the alternator using PC based software and communicating hardware.

Diffused Reflectance Measurement

Diffused reflectance measurement set-up is suitable for measuring diffused reflectance from a textured and or anti reflection coated (ARC) Si wafers of full size 6x 6 or 5 x 5. especially designed detectors are used to detect the reflected light from the Si wafer surface. This set-up is designed for quick measurement of diffused reflectance from the full size wafer to quantify the quality of texturing or ARC films on Si wafers. In this design, almost full area of the Si wafer is illuminated by a collimated beam of light using a halogen lamp source.

The set-up is very rugged and can be used on a shop floor with ease.

System Features

  • Especially designed to measure and compare the diffused reflectance non-destructively of a full 5x 5 or 6x 6 textured or ARC coated Si wafer.
  • Very low measurement time.
  • Highly sensitive (resolution 0.01 %) especially in the low range (2-20%) of diffused reflectance which is required to test the quality of texturing and ARC coatings.
  • Can be used to detect non-uniformity of texturing also .
  • Very easy to use and does not require trained personnel or a clean room.
  • Very easy to calibrate w.r.t. standard samples.
  • The operation is computer controlled and all the data can be saved and retrieved as and when required for comparing the results with the final cell output.
  • Out-put of the set-up can be used to optimize the texturing process to enhance yield of solar cells.
