Skid Mounted Assemblies

BEV undertakes procurement, manufacture, testing, assembly, hook up and function testing of skid mounted assemblies. Typically, compressor skids, pump skids, metering / proving skids, dosing skids, pig launcher-receiver skids, washing skids etc. Usually skid layout is provided by the overall system designer including the structural and piping drawings. In case designing and detailing of piping, structural frame, pipe supports, equipment supports, platforms etc. is required, BEV could handle them. Design and detailed engineering of static equipment (e.g., filters, knock out drum, surge vessel etc.) could also be done. Materials of construction range from carbon steel, various grades of low alloy steels through stainless steels like SMO (6% Mo) and Duplex/Super Duplex Stainless Steel including exotic metals like titanium, cupro nickel, incolloy etc. We have an extensive range of WPQRs covering a wide range of materials, thicknesses and welding processes such as SAW, SMAW, GTAW and FCAW. We have an extensive range of WPQRs to ASME Sec IX and EN ISO 15614 covering a wide range of materials, thicknesses, processes and other variables.

In addition, WPQRs to suit any custom requirements including Client specifications can be developed and qualified within a short turnaround time.

We carry out post weld heat treatment / stress relieving of individual welds using localized resistance heating. In case of larger volumes, temporary purpose-built temporary furnace could be arranged within our facility.

Arrangements for non destructive testing such as radiography, dye penetrant, magnetic particle, ultrasound, PMI, spot hardness testing etc. are available. Metallurgical, mechanical and chemical testing is done at NABL accredited independent testing facility. Hydro testing up to 600 bar can be done with or without chart recorders. Pneumatic testing and / or helium leak testing could also be done. We have a fully enclosed steel grit blasting facility and air less spray painting facility.

BEV will be able to do function tests and dry simulation of the complete package. Arrangements could be made for rotating equipment trial run also.

Storage Tanks

BEV undertakes design, manufacture and testing of vertical as well as horizontal storage tanks for various applications such as hydro carbons, potable water, fire water, effluent treatment, process chemicals storage etc. These could be designed and manufactured to API 650, BS 2594, EN 12285 etc.

BEV has a team of competent design engineers, design associates and draftsmen experienced in the field. Generally custom developed spread sheets is used for mechanical design and Autocad for drafting.

Materials of construction range from carbon steel through stainless steel including exotic metals like SMO (6% Mo), Duplex/Super Duplex Stainless Steel, Hastelloy, Inconel, Incolloy, Titanium, Cu Ni etc. For material preparation, we have a CNC profile cutter with plasma and oxy fuel torches. We can roll shells up to 85 mm thick and 3.2 M wide. Cold working is maximized with CNC band saw, Universal Steel Worker etc.

We have an extensive range of WPQRs to ASME Sec IX and EN ISO 15614 covering a wide range of materials, thicknesses, processes and other variables. We have a wide range of welding manipulators such as column and boom 4 M x 7 M, heavy duty rotators up to 50 tons and positioners up to 3 tons. We have the entire range of welding gear viz., SAW, SMAW, GTAW and FCAW welding machines. We also have BugO Speed Weaver welding oscillator for GTAW / FCAW. There are also baking and holding ovens for welding electrodes and flux, apart from portable quivers for welders and welding operators. For stainless steel and exotics, there is a purpose built, segregated area.

We have a well equipped machine shop with a with a 3 Axis CNC Vertical Machining Centre Hartford PRO 3210 imported from Taiwan with bed size 3150 mm x 2100 mm with 70 bar through coolant BT50, 6000 rpm spindle, 20 tools ATC, right angle milling head and Fanuc controller. The machine shop also has a radial drill and 3 gap bed centre lathes. Exotic metals are handled using stringent material control and handling procedures and work is carried out in controlled environment. We build temporary furnaces for post weld heat treatment / stress relieving of complete tanks. For local stress relieving such as for access hatch, resistance heating is used. BEV has the for vacuum testing, helium leak testing etc.

We have a totally enclosed steel grit blasting facility complying with Euro III norms imported from Hodge Clemco, UK. Its size is 16M (L) x 8 M (W) x 5 M (H). Items bigger than this are blasted under custom built canopies using 200 litres blast pots and copper slag as abrasive medium. Painting facility is fully equipped with air less spray painting machine as well as cup guns. Special erosion resistant internal coatings can be applied using Belzona or Ceramkote products. Non destructive testing such as radiography, ultrasound etc. and material testing at NABL accredited testing facility is available within reach. If tank calibration is required for custody transfer or tariff metering purposes, it could be arranged from approved agencies.

Offshore Containers

BEV undertakes design, manufacture, testing, painting and certification of Offshore Containers and Baskets to EN 12079 or DNV 2.7.1. These are used for various applications such as Dry/Chemical/ Production Containers for transport of various cargo, full height/half height/square/pipe baskets for transport of various equipment and materials, Mud Lab Containers, Refrigerated Containers for food and perishables, Tool/Workshop Containers, Storage Containers, Accommodation Containers, Field Lab Containers etc., Offshore Lifting Frames for various equipment such as Welding Generators, Compressors, Cylinder Racks, Skid mounted equipment etc. and Monocoque Offshore Waste Skips.

Our design associates use STRAP or StaadPro software for design modelling and analysis, supplemented by custom developed spread sheets and Autocad for drafting. All materials of construction are chosen to meet code requirements, especially impact property and traceability. Additional requirements such as through-thickness property and EN 10204 3.2 certification requirements can be taken care of for pad eye materials. We have CNC profile cutters and flux cored arc welding machines, both manual and semi automatic. Barring full penetration welds, all other welding is done using FCAW. We have an extensive range of WPQRs to AWS D1.1 and EN 288 covering a wide range of materials, thicknesses and processes. We deploy welders and welding operators certified to EN 287/AWS D1.1 by recognised third party certification agencies such as Bureau Veritas or TUV. We have a team of QC Inspectors and AWS/CSWIP 3.1/3.2 Certified Welding Inspectors. We have a fully enclosed steel grit blasting facility and air less spray painting facility. Portable Chemical Tanks

BEV undertakes design, manufacture, testing, painting and certification of Portable Pressurised Tanks for hazardous cargo. These are used transporting hazardous chemicals under International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code (IMDG) through various modes of transport such as ship, rail, road etc. anywhere in the world. The range of certifications cover typically ASME U Stamp, IMDG, ADR, RID, US DoT, UK DfT, CSC etc. The portable tank may be mounted on ISO 14196 frame or free standing on forklift pockets. These are certified by Lloyds Register UK.

BEV has a team of competent design engineers, design checker and draftsmen experienced in the field. Pressure vessel design is done using PVElite and customs developed spread sheets. In the case of frame mounted tanks, for design of frames, our design associates use Ansys or StaddPro software for design modelling and analysis. Autocad Inventor is used for detailed engineering and drafting including building 3D model. All materials of construction are chosen to meet the code requirements, especially impact property and traceability. Design appraisal is carried out by Lloyds Register, UK and a Design Appraisal Certificate is obtained. Prototype manufacture, testing and approval follows. In the case of frame mounted tanks, both static load tests and dynamic rail road impact tests could be performed in IMDG / US DoT approved test houses. For self standing tanks, BEV is also fully equipped to carry out proto type testing in-house.

BEV undertakes design, detailed engineering, manufacture, testing, certification and code stamping of pressure vessels to ASME Sec VIII Div 1, Div 2, BS 5500, IS 2825, AD 2000-Merkblatt etc. BEV holds ASME U and U2 Stamps for manufacture and National Board R Stamp for repair and recertification. BEV is also authorized by the National Board to use NB Stamp. The plant is approved by Hartford Steam Boiler UK Ltd. (Notified Body) for manufacture of pressure vessels under Pressure Equipment Directive PED 2014/68/EU of the European Union, Module H1 and H. Pressure vessels for various applications such as air receivers, columns, reactors, towers, digesters, pig launchers - receivers etc. can be manufactured and / or repaired. Also, pressure vessels under Indian Boiler Regulations, 1950 such as boiler steam / mud drums, blow down tanks, HP Heaters, Deaerators, headers for various applications such as waterwall headers, economizer / superheater / reheater headers etc. can be manufactured and IBR stamped.

We also manufacture pressurized transportable tanks for hazardous chemicals with Code Stamp, PED certification and IMDG, ADR, RID, US DOT, UK DfT certification.

Hartford Steam Boiler International GmbH is the Notified Body for PED certification jobs. We also have a second AIA services agreement with Lloyds Insurance Inc. For special certification requirements such as US DOT, ADR, RID, UK DfT, IMDG etc., we engage Lloyds Register Verification Ltd. as the certification body. CUTR certification of pressure vessels for Russia or Kazakhstan can also be arranged through duly accredited certification bodies.

Country specific compliance certification such as that for Malaysia, Singapore, Australia etc. can also be arranged through authorized third party inspection agencies such as Bureau Veritas. This would facilitate seamless integration of our pressure vessels into the project in the country of installation.

We carry out post weld heat treatment / stress relieving in temporary purpose built temporary furnaces within our facility or in gas fired furnaces at a specialist subcontractors premises of pressure vessels. Heat exchanger tubes, plain and finned, straight as well as U tubes are available from local suppliers. There are reputed manufacturers in our approved suppliers list, including some with R/D 1.0 bending capability. For tube expansion, we have state of the art digital wattage controller and sets of expanders and mandrels of various sizes. Tube end facing, beveling can be done using portable ID mounted machines.

Skid Mounted Assemblies

BEV undertakes procurement, manufacture, testing, assembly, hook up and function testing of skid mounted assemblies. Typically, compressor skids, pump skids, metering / proving skids, dosing skids, pig launcher-receiver skids, washing skids etc. Usually skid layout is provided by the overall system designer including the structural and piping drawings. In case designing and detailing of piping, structural frame, pipe supports, equipment supports, platforms etc. is required, BEV could handle them. Design and detailed engineering of static equipment (e.g., filters, knock out drum, surge vessel etc.) could also be done. Arrangements for non destructive testing such as radiography, dye penetrant, magnetic particle, ultrasound, PMI, spot hardness testing etc. are available. Metallurgical, mechanical and chemical testing is done at NABL accredited independent testing facility. Hydro testing up to 600 bar can be done with or without chart recorders. Pneumatic testing and / or helium leak testing could also be done. We have a fully enclosed steel grit blasting facility and air less spray painting facility.

BEV will be able to do function tests and dry simulation of the complete package. Arrangements could be made for rotating equipment trial run also.

Storage Tanks

BEV undertakes design, manufacture and testing of vertical as well as horizontal storage tanks for various applications such as hydro carbons, potable water, fire water, effluent treatment, process chemicals storage etc. These could be designed and manufactured to API 650, BS 2594, EN 12285 etc.

We can roll shells up to 85 mm thick and 3.2 M wide. Cold working is maximized with CNC band saw, Universal Steel Worker etc.

We have an extensive range of WPQRs to ASME Sec IX and EN ISO 15614 covering a wide range of materials, thicknesses, processes and other variables. We have a wide range of welding manipulators such as column and boom 4 M x 7 M, heavy duty rotators up to 50 tons and positioners up to 3 tons. We have the entire range of welding gear viz., SAW, SMAW, GTAW and FCAW welding machines. We also have BugO Speed Weaver welding oscillator for GTAW / FCAW. Exotic metals are handled using stringent material control and handling procedures and work is carried out in controlled environment. We build temporary furnaces for post weld heat treatment / stress relieving of complete tanks. For local stress relieving such as for access hatch, resistance heating is used. BEV has the for vacuum testing, helium leak testing etc.

We have a totally enclosed steel grit blasting facility complying with Euro III norms imported from Hodge Clemco, UK. Its size is 16M (L) x 8 M (W) x 5 M (H). Items bigger than this are blasted under custom built canopies using 200 litres blast pots and copper slag as abrasive medium. Painting facility is fully equipped with air less spray painting machine as well as cup guns. Special erosion resistant internal coatings can be applied using Belzona or Ceramkote products. Non destructive testing such as radiography, ultrasound etc. and material testing at NABL accredited testing facility is available within reach. If tank calibration is required for custody transfer or tariff metering purposes, it could be arranged from approved agencies.

Portable Chemical Tanks

BEV undertakes design, manufacture, testing, painting and certification of Portable Pressurised Tanks for hazardous cargo. These are used transporting hazardous chemicals under International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code (IMDG) through various modes of transport such as ship, rail, road etc. anywhere in the world. The range of certifications cover typically ASME U Stamp, IMDG, ADR, RID, US DoT, UK DfT, CSC etc. The portable tank may be mounted on ISO 14196 frame or free standing on forklift pockets. These are certified by Lloyds Register UK.

BEV has a team of competent design engineers, design checker and draftsmen experienced in the field. Pressure vessel design is done using PVElite and customs developed spread sheets. In the case of frame mounted tanks, for design of frames, our design associates use Ansys or StaddPro software for design modelling and analysis. Autocad Inventor is used for detailed engineering and drafting including building 3D model. All materials of construction are chosen to meet the code requirements, especially impact property and traceability. Design appraisal is carried out by Lloyds Register, UK and a Design Appraisal Certificate is obtained. Prototype manufacture, testing and approval follows. In the case of frame mounted tanks, both static load tests and dynamic rail road impact tests could be performed in IMDG / US DoT approved test houses. For self standing tanks, BEV is also fully equipped to carry out proto type testing in-house.

Pressure vessels for various applications such as air receivers, columns, reactors, towers, digesters, pig launchers - receivers etc. can be manufactured and / or repaired.
