Road Lighting General description Road lighting luminaire suitable for use with High Pressure Sodium Vapour SON-T PLUS / HPI-T PLUS 400W Lamp. Luminaire can also be used with SON-T PLUS / HPI-T PLUS / CDM-TT 250 W lamp and SON-T PLUS / CDM-TT 150W lamps. Features
  • Housing made of LM6 high pressure die-cast aluminium which does not need painting to prevent corrosion of the housing. However paint options are available as an optional feature. Available in choice of colours.
  • All electrical accessories such as energy efficient, low loss, open construction copper ballast, ignitor and power factor improvement capacitor, etc are pre-wired upto the terminal block and mounted on a removable control gear module for ease of maintenance. All electrical connections of the control gear module with the rest of the luminaire are click fix, fool proof and require use of no tools. Control gear compartment opens from top.
  • The lamp compartment consists of electrochemically brightened and anodized, high purity POT reflector with a specially designed ribbed profile for high spacing to mounting height ratio.
  • The lamp compartment consists of a heat resistant toughened, available in options of curved glass & flat glass (FG) which is sealed to the housing. Lamp replacement is by opening the top compartment. This ensures IP66 classification of ingress protection for the lamp compartment.
  • Specially designed pole mounting arrangement facilitates bottom as well as lateral pole mounting.
  • Flexible optics to achieve optimum light distribution to suitdifferent road and installation parameters.

  • Housing made of pressure die-cast aluminium alloy with low copper content for sturdiness and better corrosion resistance.
    • Trendy profile of the housing ensuring better aesthetics and also lower wind resistance. Powder coated finish with black colour for better environmental protection and aesthetics.
  • The lamp compartment comprises of electrochemically brightened, high purity, pre anodized aluminium reflector for high efficiency, specially profiled to suit area and faade lighting applications.
  • Specially designed lamp support clips ensure correct beam distribution.
  • The front cover comprises of a specially designed heat resistant, toughened curved glass to match the profile of the housing. The front glass is attached to the housing with the help of a pressure die cast frame, hinged from one side and locked to the housing with the help of stainless steel toggles for quick and easy lamp replacement.
