After the Hard Chrome Plating is done some of the Chromium is found to be deposited on the inner edges of the components. To give a shiny gloss to the surfaces and remove the Chromium deposits from the edges Belt Polishing is done to the components. Polishing is a finishing process that cleans, removes surface irregularities and shines parts. Your parts can be Tumbled, Electropolished, Belt Polished, etc. A minimum amount of material is removed to give you a smooth and brightened OD.
