Ours is an established rice manufacturing since 1981. We were one of the biggest non-basmati rice producers till 2003. When it was the breeding of basmati crop in our region. It is the best quality with extra ordinary length and taste. We started milling basmati rice in 2003 in the form of para-boiled rice which involves boiling of rice while milling. In 2009 we started milling this rice with just steam without boiling. Steam rice tastes like 3 years old raw rice which means it is better than any other form of rice. The type which we are concentrating on is 1121 steam. 1121 basmati has brought revolution in rice industry.

The unique crop of 1121 doesn’t require much water, minerals or antiseptic sprays so there is nothing added in this crop that is harmful to human body. The water we get from nearby water bodies is enough for this crop which makes it more delicious to eat and elongates to 20-25 mm of cooking. We have tested this quality in parties and have always been complemented on the quality and taste. Even the broken rice of 1121 is better than other rice as it inherits same taste and length as of parent rice. Because of its superior length some people even compare this rice with noodles.

Till 2010 we were running the firm with the name of bajaj rice mill, from april 2010 we are working under the company name bajaj basmati pvt. Ltd. Now we are increasing capacity of our plant by 3 times. Earlier we had capacity of 4 tons/hr, but recently we have started another plant of capacity 8 tons/hr. Which is a fully modern plant? in this paddy will be stored in silo. For this all the machinery will be imported from usa, uk and germany. After the completion, it will be a no. 1 plant. Company is also planning to set up a power plant. Company has made a strong hold in indian domestic market in last few years.company is now an iso 22000 haccp accrebited come crisil verified company. We work on the model of decentralization, with very friendly environment.
