BACHMANN India has launched, for the first time in India, Acoustic Enclosures with a modular inter-locking Panel System. It boasts of the industry-minimum down-time for doing rapid installation and dismantling. It also provides inter-changeability due to its standardized panel geometry.

In a tie-up with NAP Acoustic South-East Asia Pvt. Ltd., the unique SOUND SNAP panel system is now indigenously available. Following many years of development, the SOUND SNAP system has found wide application in hundreds of installations. It has a proven track record for the complete range of noise control products of NAP SILENTFLO, all of which are tested at NATA registered independent laboratories. The BACHMANN Panel Filter Houses provide efficient filtration of air for Gas Turbines and Diesel Engines. Comprehensive filter product range is capable of meeting all requirements, up to the maximum levels of separation efficiency.

PULSE-JET filterhouses comprised of banks of cartidge filters are self-cleaned by means of sequential reverse-flow pulses of compressed air. Cartridges are available to suit all environments, and efficiencies in excess of 99% can be achieved.Evaporative Cooling Systems, lead to lead to increased power output and an improved gas turbine heat rate, particularly in warm and dry climates

Stack Cap Damper are typically employed to encapsulate adequate heat to ensure efficient start & working of the boiler. BACHMANN employs a unique coupling and counter-weight mechanism to make the design efficient and 100% independent of external drives, thus eliminating the possibility of dangerous pressure build-up in the system. They are self-opening at set pressure, and self-closing on reduction of pressure below specified, with quick open/shut-off feature.

These heavy duty constructions are extensively used in material handling application. They isolate or divert solid materials such as clinker dust and coal ash.

• Typically lined with or fabricated out of abrasion resistant steels. Liner plates can be installed with replacability feature.

• For very close tolerances, fully machined blades enable 100% cross blade isolation, even under heavy loads

BACHMANN Poppet dampers are equipped with a Duplex Leaf-seal type arrangement ensuring 99.9% isolation even without a Seal Air system, Optionaly provided with internal heating arrangement to prevent build-up of sticky flow media, Quick shutopen feature is available on demand.

• All moving parts are located inside the duct geometry. This eliminates gas leakage to atmosphere.
• Flap dampers weigh less than the louver damper thus reducing duct load. Unlike guillotine dampers, they do not induce wind loads into the duct system.
• All internals are continuously heated by the gas flow creating a negligible hot/cold interface. Thus, there is very little damage due to corrosion from dew point condensation.
• Only the drive shaft extends out of the duct to allow easy external maintenance to drive bearing & the actuator system.

• Unique metallic flexible sealing system that compensates for thermal growth, deflection under pressure & debris deposits from flue gas. 100 % isolation is achievable with seal air system.
• Quick shut/open feature available on demand.
• Since no large components extend outside the duct, flap damper can be installed in constricted areas, such as stacked duct system.

Duct SILENCERS are designedto achieve permissible near field / far field noise levelwith a touch-safe outside skin temperature while maintaining adequate strength to support Stack loads. The typical GE frame-6 silencer attenuates the gas turbine exhaust by-pass stack noise level to within 85dbA at 1 metre from the system perimeter

DUCTINGS, are available in a full range from simple carbon steel to high temperature alloy and stainless steel constructions. With a carbon steel outer frame the internally insulated ducts are typically clad with St/Steel 409 (or other st/steel materials) liner plates over a ceramic or mineral wool lining held together with a specially machined pin & washer arrangement. Externally insulated ducts require special attention to prevent thermal stress cracking.

BACHMANN in association with Wahlco Group of USA has pioneered the supply and installation of Flue gas Conditioning systems in India. It allows coal fired boilers to burn a wider variety of coals, including low cost high ash content coals and low sulfur coals while avoiding the cost of scrubber installations all without affecting the performance of the fly ash particulate collectors (Electrostatic Precipitators).

The TANDEM LOUVER DAMPER has an open cross-flow profile that creates very low pressure drop when fully open. 100% isolation is ensured by injecting pressurized air through a top or side mounted seal air fan & valve system

BACHMANN India is a specialist supplier of state-of-the-art three-way diverters used for controlling Gas Turbine exhaust flow either to the Bypass Stack or to the downstream HRSG. The latest generation of BACHMANN GFD is an integration of the best features of the original Bachmann (USA)and Metroflex (UK) designs the pioneers in this field. Diverters are available in both toggle drive and pivot drive options, covering the complete range: from boxes of small 1M sq. opening to the huge 7M sq. Frame-9FA size. STACK TRANSITION is a square to round transition piece comprising an internally-insulated carbon steel shell. All transitions, The from square to rectangular or round to round configurations, are all are designed as per requirement. Externally-insulated, stainless steel constructions are also possible.

The GSV damper design for achieving 100% crossblade gas isolation without employing sealair fan system is the original proprietory design of our partners the erstwhile Metroflex, UK. Very popular in application such as ESP inlet and outlet, it features a unique dual bulb-sealing system and an open bonnet.

• Operates successfully even under condition of heavy accumulation of dry dust.
• In closed condition, it achieves 100% leak tightness across blade, ensuring completely safe isolation of the downstream duct.
• In the unlikely event that seals should need replacement, it is simply done from the outside & access is not required to the duct interior.
