7 Segment Led Display Common Anode for Arduino/Raspberry-Pi/Robotics
Aseven-segment display(SSD), orseven-segment indicator, is a form of electronicdisplay devicefor displayingdecimal numeralsthat is an alternative to the more complexdot matrixdisplays.
Seven-segment displays are widely used indigital clocks, electronic meters, and other electronic devices for displaying numerical information.
The seven elements of the display can be lit in different combinations to represent thenumerals. In a simple LED package, typically all of thecathodes(negative terminals) or all of theanodes(positive terminals) of the segment LEDs are connected and brought out to a common pin; this is referred to as a common cathode or common anode device. Hence a 7 segments plus decimal point package will only require nine pins (though commercial products typically contain more pins, and/or spaces where pins would go, in order to match standardICsockets. Integrated displays also exist, with single or multiple digits. Hexadecimaldigits can be displayed on seven-segment displays. A particular combination of uppercase and lowercase letters are used for AF. In addition, seven segment displays can be used to show various other letters of theLatin, CyrillicandGreek alphabetsincludingpunctuation. Multiple-digit LED displays as used in pocket calculators and similar devices usedmultiplexed displaysto reduce the number of I/O pins required to control the display. For example, all the anodes of the A segments of each digit position would be connected together and to adriver circuitpin, while the cathodes of all segments for each digit would be connected. To operate any particular segment of any digit, the controlling integrated circuit would turn on the cathode driver for the selected digit, and the anode drivers for the desired segments; then after a short blanking interval the next digit would be selected and new segments lit, in a sequential fashion. In this manner an eight digit display with seven segments and a decimal point would require only 8 cathode drivers and 8 anode drivers, instead of sixty-four drivers and IC pins.
This module is a 0.96 inch blue OLED display module. The display module can be interfaced with any microcontroller using SPI/IIC protocols. It is having a resolution of 12864. OLED is a self light-emitting technology composed of a thin, multi-layered organic film placed between an anode and cathode. In contrast to LCD technology, OLED does not require a backlight. OLED possesses high application potential for virtually all types of displays and is regarded as the ultimate technology for the next generation of flat-panel displays.
OLEDsbasic structure consists of organic materials positioned between the cathode and the anode, which is composed of electric conductive transparent Indium Tin Oxide. The organic materials compose a multi-layered thin film, which includes the Hole Transporting Layer, Emission Layer and the Electron Transporting Layer. By applying the appropriate electric voltage, holes and electrons are injected into the EML from the anode and the cathode, respectively.

WORKING PRINCIPLE:-
Abrushless dc motors for quadcopteris constructed with a permanent magnet rotor and wire wound stator poles.Electrical energy is converted to mechanical energy by the magnetic attractive forces between the permanent magnet rotor and a rotating magnetic field induced in the wound stator poles. there are three electromagnetic circuits connected at a common point. Each electromagnetic circuit is split in the center, thereby permitting the permanent magnet rotor to move in the middle of the induced magnetic field. Most BLDC motors have a three-phase winding topology with star connection. A motors with this topology is driven by energizing 2 phases at a time. The static alignment is that which would be realized by creating an electric current flow from terminal A to B, noted as path 1 on the schematic in Figure 1. The rotor can be made to rotate clockwise 60 degrees from the A to B alignment by changing the current path to flow from terminal C to B, noted as path 2 on the schematic. The suggested magnetic alignment is used only for illustration purposes because it is easy to visualize. In practice, maximum torque is obtained when the permanent magnet rotor is 90 degrees away from alignment with the stator magnetic field.
